Incorporating seven distinctive colors, the pattern features seamless gradients shifting between hues of green, brown, and beige. This allows the camouflage to blend seamlessly with varying backgrounds, showcasing green tones in wooded landscapes and adopting browns and beiges in arid, desert-like areas. In the environments of Central and Eastern Europe, its efficacy becomes especially apparent during the autumn season and in zones dominated by dried vegetation. Globally renowned, MultiCam enjoys deployment by many armed forces and specialized units worldwide. Official adoption by the US Army occurred in 2010, when it became the standard camouflage for troops in Afghanistan, replacing the former Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP).
