Primary protection against accidental magazine loss is provided by a specially contoured flap secured with a buckle. The level of retention can be fine-tuned via an external shock cord loop. For swift operation, the flap can be removed quickly when required.
Attachment system utilizes two straps, enabling secure mounting to any MOLLE compatible gear, including vests and belts. Additional paracord loops sewn on the sides allow compatibility with a shooting belt up to 45 mm wide.

The pouch works as it should, the buckle instead of Velcro makes it easier to open quietly. The color is typical for Direct Action, it doesn't differ from other manufacturers. It doesn’t glow under night vision, so it’s definitely suitable for military use.

The pouch is well made, the design is thoughtful, but in my opinion it could be better. First, I would add a removable divider between the magazines. Second, an option to close with Velcro. When you need to quickly take out a magazine and there’s no time to fasten the flap, the risk of the second magazine falling out is very high. Alternatively, I would change the retention system to a wide elastic strap or add the option to secure the mags with shock-cord. The price is high, and while the product is good, it is not perfect.
