Eberlestock Mainframe Regular Transport Frame - Mirage
Eberlestock Mainframe serves as the core frame for the EMOD system, constructed from lightweight aluminum and robust materials. Designed with an adjustable suspension system and built-in cargo shelf, the frame ensures efficient transport of heavy gear. Compatible with Vapor 2500/5000/7500 packs, Batwings modules, and additional accessories, it provides the essential platform for a modular rucksack setup.
durable construction
Engineered around a sturdy aluminum frame, the construction delivers exceptional durability while maintaining minimal weight. The rigid frame ensures dependable support for the load-bearing system and features an integrated transport shelf, streamlining the process of carrying substantial gear.
The Mainframe functions as a stand-alone transport platform or can be combined with EMOD series modules, enabling the assembly of gear sets precisely matched to the demands of the mission—from ultralight setups to full-capacity expedition packs.
Carrying system, hip belt
The support system utilizes a lightweight aluminum frame that shifts the load to the hip belt and back, reducing strain on the user’s shoulders. Adjustable straps enable fine-tuning of the harness height to match the torso, optimizing ergonomic comfort.
A wide hip belt with soft padding provides backpack stabilization and absorbs much of the weight, boosting balance while on the move. Profiled straps with a mesh lining improve comfort during extended wear.
The hip belt is equipped with MOLLE system straps for securing pouches or additional gear.
Mounting system for the Mainframe
The Mainframe serves as the foundation of the modular EMOD system, enabling seamless integration of backpacks and accessories from this range directly onto the structure. Attachment is facilitated by YKK zippers and Duraflex HD 25 mm buckles, securing the backpack firmly to the sides of the frame.
Utilizing three cross compression straps with buckles, the system ensures the backpack remains stable against the frame or can be adjusted outward to create additional cargo space. Equipment or heavier items can be transported closer to the body’s center of gravity for optimal load management.
MOLLE/PALS panel
A laser-cut MOLLE/PALS panel runs the full length of the frame’s back, providing a secure platform for attaching additional modules and pouches directly to the structure. Gear configurations can be easily expanded with EMOD elements as well as standard MOLLE/PALS pouches, ensuring flexible organization and enabling quick adaptation to a wide range of operational needs.

Camouflage Mirage
The Doppel:Ganger series represents Eberlestock's exclusive camouflage technology, utilizing a dual-image process where an abstract veil is layered atop a traditional pattern of natural stains. This unique depth and contrasting appearance make it challenging to detect outlines, drawing the observer’s focus to a single layer and enhancing overall camouflage performance.
The Mirage version draws inspiration from earth tones and high-contrast elements, echoing the colors of parched steppes and semi-arid landscapes. Exceptional performance is delivered in mountainous, grassy, and desert regions, as well as open terrains across Southern and Eastern Europe. The extensive tonal palette positions Mirage as a viable option to desert-steppe camouflages such as A-TACS AU and WASP I Z1B.

Eberlestock is an American brand founded in 1985 by Glenn Eberle, an Olympian and pilot. It began with the development of a lightweight and strong rifle stock, which became the foundation for further innovations. The Just One Pack backpack, which allows you to carry a weapon on your back while keeping your hands free, proved to be a breakthrough. The company is famous for its modular systems, such as the Mainframe™ frame, tested for a load capacity of nearly 600 kg. The range also includes models created in collaboration with outdoor organizations, including Team Elk Pack from the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. Eberlestock is also developing its own line of Doppel:Ganger® camouflage, including Mountain, Skye, and Mirage variants, which use a double image technique to increase camouflage effectiveness. Today, the Boise, Idaho-based brand is recognized as a leader in the creation of equipment for hunters, tactical operators, and outdoor enthusiasts.

YKK zippers are high-quality zippers commonly used in clothing and accessories, manufactured by the Japanese YKK Corporation - one of the world's largest zipper manufacturers.
MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) is a system for attachment of tactical equipment, used for example in backpacks or tactical vests. It provides the possibility of flexible and modular placement of various accessories and pockets, which allows personalization and optimal adjustment of the item to the specific needs of the user. It is widely used by the military, special services and survival and outdoor enthusiasts.
Duraflex buckles are a type of high-quality buckles and fasteners made of durable materials such as polyamide or polypropylene. They are weatherproof, UV-resistant and resistant to mechanical damage. Duraflex are used for fastening and adjusting in backpacks, bags, clothing and military equipment, providing reliable and durable fastening solutions.
LCS (Laser Cut System) is a new version of the assembly used in the MOLLE system, where instead of traditional tapes, laser-cut holes are used directly in the material. The system is much lighter than standard sewn-on PALS tapes and guarantees better camouflage. The holes are hemmed with thread to prevent fuzzing and ripping, or, as in the case of Cordura, the laser-cut edges are fused.
