MultiCam camouflage
MultiCam is an advanced camouflage pattern designed in 2002 by the American company Crye Precision in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) under the Objective Force Warrior project. The primary objective was to develop a highly adaptable camouflage suited for a range of terrains and fluctuating environmental conditions. The MultiCam design incorporates seven distinct colors, producing seamless gradient transitions among green, brown, and beige tones. Thanks to this, the pattern effectively blends with surroundings, reflecting greens in forest environments and browns or beiges in arid, desert landscapes. Within Central and Eastern European regions, MultiCam demonstrates excellent performance during autumn and in areas with dried vegetation. Widely acknowledged across the globe, MultiCam is employed by various military and special operations units. In 2010, the US Army officially adopted this camouflage for troops deployed in Afghanistan, replacing the former Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). Offered as well to civilian users, the pattern has become a favored choice among military enthusiasts and airsoft players.
