Eberlestock Vapor 5000 Backpack 81.9 l - Mountain
The Eberlestock Vapor 5000 backpack stands out as a lightweight, modular pack in the EMOD series, offering a total capacity of 81.9 liters. Featuring a centrally placed front zippered pocket and two stretchable side pockets, it ensures efficient gear organization. Constructed from robust 450D Rip-Stop aramid fabric with PU coating, the pack delivers minimal weight combined with enhanced resistance to moisture and abrasion. Full compatibility with the Eberlestock Mainframe (sold separately) makes this pack a versatile choice for both extended and short outdoor expeditions.
Material, PU coating, Rip-Stop
Constructed from robust 450D Rip-Stop aramid, the backpack benefits from enhanced fabric strength, effectively minimizing the likelihood of rips. A supplementary polyurethane (PU) coating adds an additional layer of moisture resistance, safeguarding gear against rain and light dampness.
Spacious main compartment, roll-top, three pockets
The pack features a large main compartment that can be accessed in two ways: either through a roll-top collar secured with buckles or via a front zippered flap for rapid entry to the pack’s interior. Within the compartment, two open organizer pockets are provided, along with a divider designed for a hydration system.
Located on each side are two spacious, elasticized pockets ideal for securely holding water bottles, spotting scopes, tripods, or similar gear. A front zippered pocket crafted from flexible material offers storage for smaller accessories, ensuring they remain easily accessible.
EMOD modular system
Designed as a component of the modular EMOD system, the construction mounts directly onto the Mainframe (not included). Secure attachment is achieved with YKK zippers and 25 mm Duraflex HD buckles, which fasten the pack along the sides of the frame.
Detachable buckles with compression straps are integrated into the system, enabling the backpack to be quickly separated from the frame. This feature opens up extra carrying capacity—ideal for transporting additional gear or heavy loads while keeping the weight balanced near the body's core.

Camouflage Mountain
Doppel:Ganger represents Eberlestock's exclusive camouflage series, utilizing a dual-image method where an abstract veil layer is layered atop a traditional stain pattern inspired by natural terrain. This interplay of depth and contrast disrupts the outline of the wearer, compelling visual attention to one of the patterns and enhancing overall concealment performance.
The Mountain variant features a palette of greens and browns, enabling seamless integration with dense foliage, marshy environments, and cultivated fields. Optimal effectiveness is achieved in the coniferous and mixed woodlands characteristic of Central and Northern Europe. Serving as a viable substitute for established woodland patterns such as US Woodland, Marpat (Digital Woodland), and WASP I Z3A.

Eberlestock is an American brand founded in 1985 by Glenn Eberle, an Olympian and pilot. It began with the development of a lightweight and strong rifle stock, which became the foundation for further innovations. The Just One Pack backpack, which allows you to carry a weapon on your back while keeping your hands free, proved to be a breakthrough. The company is famous for its modular systems, such as the Mainframe™ frame, tested for a load capacity of nearly 600 kg. The range also includes models created in collaboration with outdoor organizations, including Team Elk Pack from the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. Eberlestock is also developing its own line of Doppel:Ganger® camouflage, including Mountain, Skye, and Mirage variants, which use a double image technique to increase camouflage effectiveness. Today, the Boise, Idaho-based brand is recognized as a leader in the creation of equipment for hunters, tactical operators, and outdoor enthusiasts.
