Wide opening and cap serving as a bowl

A wide 79 mm opening ensures easy eating straight from the container and significantly simplifies both filling and cleaning processes. The interior of the thermos features a thin silver coating, providing antibacterial properties and facilitating effortless maintenance of hygiene. The cap serves a dual purpose and can function as a bowl for added convenience.

A unique feature of the cap is the inclusion of a safety valve button. By pressing this button prior to unscrewing the cap, accumulated excess pressure—often resulting from storage of hot foods or liquids—is safely vented. This function significantly reduces the likelihood of the cap forcefully ejecting or hot steam and contents escaping unexpectedly.

The German manufacturer Esbit has long specialized in military equipment and solid fuels, so they have extensive experience in making thermoses. The 1-liter capacity provides a solid portion (or two smaller ones), which is perfect for long trips, fishing, construction sites, or for a wholesome and hearty lunch at work.     Excellent product, I tested it on vacation – hot soup poured from the pot for a weekend trip, on the second day after about 20 hours, it was still pleasantly warm (the thermos was preheated with boiling water). It's convenient – easy to fill, empty, and wash. The only reservation is about the paint – it wears off, and if you throw it into a backpack next to something hard, scratches will appear. But it's supposed to work, not just look good. I recommend it.

    Super good or even very good thermos. The workmanship is top quality. It's coated with a rough paint that keeps it from slipping even from wet hands. I ordered the 1-liter capacity and was afraid it would be a bit large. But here you go. A nice surprise. The capacity is just right for one meal, and what's more, the thermos is actually relatively small in size. Half a liter must be some tiny one meant for kids or people with very small stomachs. I would buy it again without hesitation.

    The thermos is excellent. Although there is one but. It is not a 1-liter capacity but a maximum of 950 ml. Of course, this is a minor detail. The capacity is perfect for me. It's enough for either a small meal for two people or a hearty meal for one person.

Sometimes this store outdoes itself :D The surface is rough, which makes it easier to hold in gloves, button to release pressure so the stopper won't get stuck (although I don't know how cleaning it works, whether just rinsing is enough). In general, I am satisfied with the purchase :)

    I bought the thermos for ultramarathon cycling (private, about 50-150 km per day) and long hiking trips. At a temperature of -10°C, after a whole day, the meal is warm - which is fine for me. The pressure release button is a nice touch. The downside is that the casing scratches quickly.
