Segments constructed from cold-drawn seamless tubes in class CSN 12060 = CK55 - DIN 17200, C55E - EN 10083-1 + A1, crafted from Cro-Mo 4130 steel. The addition of chromium and molybdenum ensures resistance to high tensile, bending, and shearing forces. A black nickel-zinc (Ni-ZN) coating is applied for exceptional resistance to abrasion, and the material is hardened to 40-50 HRC.
The grip features an ergonomically shaped H-type anti-slip surface composed of non-allergenic synthetic rubber, offering a secure and firm hold with its rough, non-slip texture.

I have both series from ESP — the gravity-folding one and the button-operated one.
I don’t know what the Czechs were drinking when designing this model — the protruding little button, if you make a block against a wall, will fold your baton instead of maintaining the block. It would have been enough for it to be recessed and hidden in the handle. The folding lock is single-segment — in other words, once one half starts folding, the other slides without any additional pressing of the lock, which is another drawback in a defensive situation.
To sum up: a good scare tool for yorkies, with a price that doesn’t match. If you’re going "into tango," buy a regular baton from ESP.
