A smooth-action locking mechanism enables rapid extension and secure locking of the baton’s segments with minimal movement, eliminating the need for a forceful swing. Unlocking is accomplished with a button at the handle’s end. This design is optimal for safely, reliably, and discreetly deploying and folding the baton in environments such as public transport or in crowded areas.
Segments constructed from cold-drawn seamless tubes in class CSN 12060 = CK55 - DIN 17200, C55E - EN 10083-1 + A1, crafted from Cro-Mo 4130 steel. The addition of chromium and molybdenum ensures resistance to high tensile, bending, and shearing forces. A black nickel-zinc (Ni-ZN) coating is applied for exceptional resistance to abrasion, and the material is hardened to 40-50 HRC.
The grip features an ergonomically shaped H-type anti-slip surface composed of non-allergenic synthetic rubber, offering a secure and firm hold with its rough, non-slip texture.
With the Easy-Lock system, the baton can be deployed either by the standard swing or by simply pulling the tip, providing versatility in situations where swinging is impractical or discretion is required. Single-handed closure is also possible—just press the release button on the handle’s end and compress against any surface.
