Hardened Cro-Mo 4130 steel, nickel-zinc coating, ergonomic grip
The baton segments are crafted from cold-drawn seamless tubing made of CSN 12060 = CK55 - DIN 17200, C55E - EN 10083-1 + A1 grade Cro-Mo 4130 steel. Owing to the presence of chromium and molybdenum, the steel delivers exceptional resistance to high tensile, bending, and breaking stresses. For enhanced durability, the segments are finished with a black nickel-zinc (Ni-ZN) coating, offering superior wear resistance. The baton segments are hardened to achieve a hardness rating of 40-50 HRC.
The grip features a profiled HE (Ergonomic Grip) design, crafted from flexible, synthetic, and anti-allergenic rubber. This ensures a secure hold and increases control during the execution of various techniques.
Easy-Lock
The Easy-Lock mechanism offers two distinct ways to deploy the baton: either by executing a standard flick or by simply pulling the end of the bar. Utilizing the second method proves advantageous when a full swing is not possible due to limited space or when a discreet action is needed. One-handed closure is possible—just unlock the Easy Lock by pressing the button situated at the base of the handle, and then, with the tip braced against any surface, collapse the baton.
BH-55-A holster, UBC-05-A belt mount
The baton is equipped with a BH-55-A swivel holster crafted from reinforced polypropylene, enabling it to be carried on the belt in both the folded and extended positions. Furthermore, the holster permits the baton to be positioned at any angle, allowing users to customize the setup to their personal preferences.
Moreover, the manufacturer provides a universal belt mount UBC-05-A Quick Change System in the package, which facilitates the rapid replacement of the baton holder with another holder featuring a rotating mechanism. The UBC-05-A mount is compatible with most belts ranging from 38–56 mm in width, and up to 68 mm when the limiter is removed.
