ESP Easy Lock Button Expandable Baton Hardened 16" - Black
Rugged expandable baton featuring a revolutionary Easy Lock locking system. Supplied with a swivel holster that enables you to adjust the mounting angle to suit your requirements.
Hardened Cro-Mo 4130 steel, nickel-zinc coating, ergonomic grip
Segments of the baton are crafted from cold-drawn seamless tubing made with CSN 12060 = CK55 - DIN 17200, C55E - EN 10083-1 + A1 grade Cro-Mo 4130 steel. Enhanced with chromium and molybdenum, the steel provides exceptional resistance to high tensile strength, bending, and fracture stresses. Each baton segment is finished with a durable black nickel-zinc (Ni-ZN) coating, ensuring superior wear resistance. The steel is hardened to a range of 40-50 HRC for optimal strength.
An ergonomically-shaped handle features a contoured H (Anti-slip) grip, constructed from synthetic, anti-allergenic rubber with a rough, non-slip surface to guarantee a secure and stable hold.
Easy-Lock
The Easy-Lock system offers two distinct methods for deploying the baton: either with a conventional swing or by pulling the tip of the shaft. Utilizing the second method makes it possible to open the baton discreetly or in situations where a full swing isn't feasible. For closure, single-handed operation is possible by pressing the button located at the base of the handle to disengage the Easy Lock, then collapsing the baton by pressing the tip against any hard surface.
BH-55-A holster, UBC-05-A belt mount
Equipped with a BH-55-A swivel holster crafted from reinforced polypropylene, the baton can be conveniently carried on the belt in both folded and extended positions. The holster offers 360-degree rotation, allowing users to adjust the carrying angle for maximum personal comfort and tactical readiness.
Included in the kit is a universal belt mount UBC-05-A Quick Change System, providing the flexibility to swiftly switch the baton holder with another rotating holster. The UBC-05-A mount accommodates most belts with a width of 38-56 mm, and up to 68 mm in width when the adjustment feature is removed.
