The glasses are amazing. They really do give the impression of being 'armored.' Besides that, they also look fantastic. You practically don't feel like you're wearing them. With the glasses, you get a soft pouch (like with Oakleys) for storage and cleaning, and a hard case with the ESS logo (which you don't get with every pair of Oakleys). They're worth buying. I definitely recommend them.

Tactical glasses combining effective eye protection with a lightweight design intended for use during outdoor activities and work in demanding environments. Protection is provided by a wide integrated polycarbonate visor, which shields the eyes from the front and limits the ingress of contaminants from the sides.
The model meets the requirements of the ANSI Z87.1 standard and the MIL-PRF-32432A military specification. The filters used provide full protection against UVA and UVB radiation.
Polycarbonate visor
The visor is made of polycarbonate with a thickness of 2,2 mm. The material is resistant to mechanical damage while maintaining a low weight. The rounded shape improves protection of the sides of the eyes and provides a wide field of view.
The Mirrored Brass visor reduces the amount of intense light reaching the eyes and provides 100% protection against UVA and UVB radiation.

The frames are made of polymer in Carbon Gray. The material ensures low weight and adequate stiffness. The rounded frame shape increases the range of protection and helps limit the ingress of dust, particles, and side light.
