The glasses are excellently made, provide good eye protection, great visibility, good material quality and durability. They are worth the price, of course if you can accept it.
ESS Credence Tactical Glasses - Dark Gray/Mirrored Blue
Ballistic-rated eyewear, equipped with fixed polycarbonate lenses measuring 2.2 mm in thickness, utilizes ESSOPTICS technology to ensure a distortion-free image across the entire field of view and delivers complete protection from UVA and UVB rays.
Increased lens strength, wide field of view
The lenses are equipped with the ToughZone coating, which increases their resistance to scratches and surface wear. The protective layer shields the polycarbonate during everyday use and contact with pieces of equipment. The lenses feature a wide field of view.
ToughZone helps maintain lens clarity, reducing the formation of fine scratches that can degrade image quality. This is important during fieldwork, outdoor activities, shooting, and when using the glasses in changing weather conditions.
Frame made of thermoplastic composite, low-profile temples
Constructed from a thermoplastic composite, the frame is engineered with low-profile temples that eliminate pressure points. Designed for seamless integration with headsets, ear protection, hats, and helmets. End holes allow attachment of a protective strap, while the broad temples offer enhanced lateral facial protection.
The goggles comply with ballistic standards including U.S. MIL SPEC MIL-PRF-32432 (Impact), ANSI Z87.1-2010, and U.S. Federal OSHA.

ToughZone in ESS glasses is an advanced protection system that provides high scratch resistance. A special coating on the lenses maintains high quality vision, even in harsh weather conditions.
MIL-PRF-32432 is an American military standard for glasses and goggles, including corrective glasses. According to this standard, a set of glasses should include spare lenses, a case, an instruction manual, a cleaning cloth and a strap, depending on the type of set. Goggles must also have a protective case in the set. Glasses and goggles must be compatible with a corrective insert. The standard specifies the goggles' ability to withstand impact from a .15-inch (3.8 mm) steel bullet weighing 0.376 grams at 200 m/s. In the case of goggles, the impact resistance of a .22-caliber bullet fired at a velocity of approximately 170 m/s.
Z87.1 standard developed by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) for the durability of eye protectors. The standard includes two types of tests (3 tests) for the impact resistance of the lens and the stability of its seating in the frame: resistance to High Mass and High Velocity objects.
