ESS Profile NVG Tactical Goggles - Black
The Profile goggles are ESS's flagship product, developed in collaboration with members of the elite United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) units. They are the most frequently chosen contract goggles in the world, being used by the U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, and many NATO alliance armies. They provide superior ballistic protection, exceeding the requirements of U.S. MIL SPEC MIL-DTL-43511D (Clause 3.5.10), ANSI Z87.1-2010, U.S. Federal OSHA, and CE EN 166 BTKN 34 standards. The visor made of 2.8 mm thick polycarbonate is characterized by high resistance to impacts and deformations. Additionally, it filters 100% of UVA and UVB radiation, guaranteeing full eye protection. Thanks to the application of ClearZone FlowCoat technology, the visor surface is less susceptible to scratches and fogging, significantly enhancing user comfort in challenging conditions.
Wide field of vision and low-profile design ensure compatibility with night vision and head protection systems. The goggles can be easily adjusted to personal needs thanks to ESS's modular technology, allowing quick replacement of the visor, frame, or strap. Additionally, optional U-RX and P-2 corrective inserts are available.

The use of ClearZone FlowCoat technology protects the outside of the visor from scratching and the inside from fogging.
EN166 is a European standard for optical requirements and mechanical protection for glasses and goggles. Optical requirements include light transmission and diffusion, refractive properties, heat and UV resistance, corrosion and ignition. Mechanical protection is the resistance to object impact, within which there are 4 levels designated by the letters S, F, B and A, where S is the least protection and A is the highest.
Z87.1 standard developed by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) for the durability of eye protectors. The standard includes two types of tests (3 tests) for the impact resistance of the lens and the stability of its seating in the frame: resistance to High Mass and High Velocity objects.
