I bought the FMS-X1 for trips, as I wanted to boil water quickly without any issues with the wind. It turned out to be a very practical solution: just set it up, light it, and after a few minutes, you have water ready for coffee or a meal. The pot has a good capacity, the lid fits tightly, and the whole set packs into a neat, quiet bundle for your backpack. Downsides: the whole thing is taller than a standard burner with a pot, so you have to be careful not to tip it over on uneven surfaces. The colorful gradient looks attractive, but wear marks appear quickly if you don't take care of the equipment. Still, the system clearly makes life easier and saves time, especially when it's windy outside.

I regret a little that it was not available in another color, but as far as the practical aspects of the stove are concerned, everything is definitely a big plus. The cover protects well against wind, which was a problem with cheaper portable stoves. Tested in autumn conditions of the British Highlands.
