If this is supposed to be a bug-out backpack, the pack-and-don't-use-too-often type, I definitely recommend it. If you're looking for an EDC backpack, it's worth knowing that it's made of very stiff material and the main compartment is shaped so that it slightly widens toward the bottom. At the top, we have a narrow opening and the whole thing is made from exceptionally rigid material. I bought it as a BOB for the youngest family member, encouraged by the laptop organizer, etc., which would have made the backpack something more than just a BOB bag. Unfortunately, packing and unpacking it is uncomfortable. The capacity also seems to be mostly on paper only. Compared to the waterproof Bergson 30L or the waterproof but heavier Mil-Tec 35L, even though they lack inserts, I would advise choosing one of them and buying the insert separately elsewhere. With the Fjord, they definitely overdid it with the thickness/stiffness of the material.
