Quite good, but they started letting water in after 6 hours of walking in constant rain wearing light trail running shoes. When in contact with wet grass, they soak through in a minute like most membrane constructions. Still, I recommend them as an emergency option for tough conditions.

It depends on what you want to use them for – for running, they're only average because your feet sweat mercilessly, and I was running in snow and frost. On the plus side: they warm well, I don’t know how low the temperature would need to be for your feet to freeze. I also used them on a bike in subzero temperatures and it was quite comfortable. All in all, they are worth recommending, because for this kind of money you won’t find anything that warms so well and lets in no water. I suspect they would also handle trekking at -20°C without any problem.
