Ultralight mummy-style sleeping bag engineered to support a natural sleep posture and allow for maximum freedom of movement. Constructed from premium nylon, the bag offers a robust outer layer and is insulated with goose down for optimal warmth.
Temperature ratings and usage conditions
The operating temperatures of the Svalbard sleeping bag specified in accordance with EN 13537:
- T-comfort: -2 deg C - the lowest temperature at which a woman can comfortably sleep through the night,
- T-limit: -7 deg C - the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep through the night without discomfort,
- T-extreme: -25 deg C - the lowest temperature at which it is possible to survive in the sleeping bag. This is not a value recommended for standard use.
10D Rip-Stop nylon with Water Repellent coating
Both interior and exterior surfaces feature lightweight 10D Rip-Stop nylon with a WR (Water Repellent) coating for enhanced moisture resistance. Specialized fabric impregnation helps minimize water absorption. The Rip-Stop weave ensures heightened protection from abrasion and prevents further tearing. A small pocket inside secures essential items, while integrated loops allow for easy attachment of a thermal liner.
Goose down filling, H-shaped construction
Insulated with Polish goose down in a 93+/7 ratio, the sleeping bag delivers superior warmth and features an impressive 900 cuin fill power. Outstanding compressibility permits efficient packing. The H-shaped baffle construction maintains even distribution of down, preventing migration and cold spots. A shark fin-shaped footbox is ergonomically designed to mirror the natural positioning of the feet during sleep, optimizing warmth retention and alleviating pressure. The base of the bag is stitched at a 70-degree angle.
Left-side zipper, Anti-Bite system
Featuring a two-way zipper on the left side, allowing access from either end. The fluorescent puller enables effortless operation in low-light conditions. Incorporates an Anti-Bite system to prevent the fabric from snagging in the zipper. An internal thermal baffle provides enhanced insulation along the lining. Compatible with another bag from the same line for pairing.
Integrated hood, DUO drawcord, thermal collar
Featuring an integrated 3D hood, this design enhances thermal insulation, safeguards the head, and reduces heat escape. Its structure further deflects wind and repels moisture. The DUO drawcord merges elastic and webbing components—the elastic grants freedom of arm movement without requiring adjustment, while the back strap ensures quick loosening, making it particularly advantageous during nighttime use. Inside, a thermal collar—a down-insulated tube with a drawcord at shoulder level—effectively blocks cold air from penetrating, making it highly suited for low-temperature environments.
