The shoes perform excellently in every respect. I'm writing my review after a month of use. The only reservation is that it's worth ordering shoes half a size, or even a whole size larger if you have wider feet. I personally wear size 43, which is also the size I bought, and while walking or sitting for a longer period, the shoes are very snug. However, after walking for a while they stretch slightly and then they're perfect. I haven't had a chance to test their waterproofness yet, but they are very warm.

Shoes have been used for several months already. Visually, they're great, although it's not so easy to keep them looking good when you use them outdoors due to their color and material. They perform very well on flat surfaces – the membrane doesn't let water in, they hold the foot well and protect it, and the sole is high and non-slip. However, after taking them to the mountains, I discovered their flaws. Due to the hard sole, they provided less cushioning on descents, which caused more strain on the knees and feet (greater pressure on them). Also, no other shoes have given me blisters in the mountains like these. After two days of long hikes in the Tatras, I wouldn't have been able to walk in them another day. Fortunately, the trip was just a weekend. For these drawbacks, I rate them 4/5. Our Polish "Grom" boots performed better in this respect in the Tatras – I did much more demanding routes practically without any blisters on my feet. I could walk for several days in a row in the "Grom" boots on trails without any problems. However, it's hard to deny that Garmonts were less slippery and held the foot better. It's a trade-off, you can't have everything.
