Outfitted with a next-generation Rhino Tough PROformance coil, the Garrett ACE 250 metal detector is completely waterproof and can be fully immersed for underwater searches. The coil secures to the lower shaft with a locking screw and nut. The upper shaft houses the LCD display and control interface. An ergonomic "S" shaped handle wrapped in foam, along with an arm support and padded armrest, delivers optimum handling comfort.

All essential search information appears on a clear LCD display. The screen shows indicators for search mode, sensitivity, graphical identification of target materials, battery status, and object depth. The detector provides estimated depth levels at which an object is likely buried: 5 cm (2 inches), 10 cm (4 inches), 15 cm (6 inches), 20 cm (8 inches), and deeper.

Directly below the display is the control panel, allowing for straightforward detector operation. The panel’s buttons make it possible to power the unit on or off, switch detection modes, fine-tune sensitivity, or reset to default settings. No programming is necessary — the device is fully ready for use as soon as it is powered on.

Featuring a three-piece construction, the Ace 250 is easy to transport. Four AA batteries power the unit; these are widely available and simple to replace. A battery set is included, providing between 20 and 25 hours of operation.
