Garrett Vortex VX9 Metal Detector with 8.5X11" Raider Coil

Raider metal detector with a waterproof search coil, equipped with proprietary Multi-Flex technology that increases the detector's versatility, allowing operating frequencies to be selected manually by the user as well as automatically. The model is equipped with the Z-Lynk system enabling wireless connection to MS3 headphones.

Available values for the Single Frequency mode are 5, 9, 13, 18 and 25 kHz, allowing manual adjustment of the detector's parameters for searching specific items. Lower frequencies are intended for finding larger, deeper objects, such as militaria or large silver coins. High frequencies work well for smaller items or items with lower conductivity, such as bronze objects, jewellery or gold nuggets.

The greatest versatility is provided by the Multi-Dimensional Multi-Frequency mode, in which the detector automatically uses the full frequency range, thus broadening the spectrum of potential finds. Additionally, the detector is equipped with the Fast mode recommended for searches conducted in areas with a high density of metal objects.

The detector is equipped with a high-class Raider 8.5X11" search coil, which allows a significant increase in detection and object identification capabilities thanks to the ability to search both on land and underwater to a depth of 5 meters.

All information needed for searching is displayed on a clear LCD screen. This includes the operating mode indicator, sensitivity level indicator, graphic indicators allowing identification of the material from which the find is made, battery depletion indicator and depth indicator. The detector is powered by a built-in Li-Ion battery, which provides up to 15h of operation.
