Great agent for impregnating membrane jackets, backpacks, and textile materials in general. For best results, use heat treatment (dryer or iron), although you can also let it dry at room temperature – the effect will appear after about 48 hours. Around 100 ml of the product is usually enough for one jacket. It is recommended to apply it to clean and preferably slightly damp material before drying. For leather footwear, I recommend using products specifically intended for that purpose.
Gear Aid Durable Water Repellent - 500 ml
Liquid waterproofing solution designed to provide a DWR water-repellent coating. Ideal for waterproofing technical apparel and weatherproof garments like jackets and pants, including clothing with a Gore-Tex membrane. The formulation preserves the breathability of fabrics and membranes, allowing moisture to escape outward. The agent is non-toxic, non-flammable, and free from harmful substances such as PFOA and PFOS. A hydrophobic layer forms on the surface, effectively preventing water absorption and sustaining the distinctive water-beading effect. Application is straightforward, delivering long-lasting waterproof protection.
