Since I bought the above item together with the GS Kukri Machete Straight model and tested them together, the remarks here should be applied to both items. The equipment is very realistic and durable. The material it is made of dampens vibrations very well. It works well for fencing and self-defense training (my coach likes to use it to explain dangerous street situations). HEMA practitioners should definitely be interested in them (the machete looks like a medieval cleaver, and the Kukri Straight like an ancient machaira/kopis/falcata). Note. For full contact training, protective gear is necessary. The machetes are quite stiff and have prominent points. In a real situation, they can be used like a high-quality baton/club. And finally, the cherry on top: they are very aesthetically pleasing and even have decorative elements.
