GSO Dobson 10" Deluxe Telescope

Dobson GSO 10" stands out as a large Newtonian reflector telescope, offering excellent performance for its price range. Equipped with a 250 mm primary mirror, an f-ratio of f/5, and a 1250 mm focal length, the instrument delivers powerful views of deep-sky phenomena. Under dark-sky conditions, hundreds of nebulae are within reach, revealing intricate details. Planetary viewing benefits from exceptionally bright and detailed images. The setup is equally suitable for comet hunting and observing faint variable stars.

Mounted on a Dobsonian azimuthal base, this telescope offers exceptional ease of use, with intuitive up, down, and side-to-side movements. Thanks to its robust build and secure tube assembly, the system remains stable, unaffected by wind or accidental bumps. GSO’s Dobsonian mount employs a precision roller bearing between the base components, ensuring exceptionally smooth and accurate movement.

A defining feature of GSO telescopes is their high-precision Crayford focuser, constructed from CNC-machined aluminum for lasting durability. Micro-focusing is managed with a 1:10 ratio screw for pinpoint adjustments. The drawtube’s tension can be fine-tuned using a dedicated screw and can also be locked in place as required by the user.

Delta Optical-GSO Dobsonian models come equipped with an integrated cooling fan beneath the primary mirror. Powered by 12 V, the fan enhances airflow around the mirror and speeds up thermal equilibrium.
