Patrol cap with a short brim, made in UCP camouflage. The model is sewn from durable PoliCotton Rip-Stop material, which is a combination of cotton and polyester. In the back part, a velcro panel is placed for attaching emblems, flags, unit markings, or so-called Morale Patches. The brim protects the eyes and face from the sun, making the cap well-suited for outdoor activities, at the shooting range, during service, or for daily use. The patrol cap is made in Universal Camouflage Pattern colors, used by line units in Iraq and Afghanistan.

UCP Camouflage
UCP (Universal Camouflage Pattern) is a digital camouflage pattern introduced at the beginning of the 21st century as a successor to US Woodland and Desert. It combines camouflage functions in various environments - forest, desert and urban - which is why shades of green and beige are combined with gray. The spot arrangement is based on the MARPAT pattern, and the pastel, low-contrast colors create a pixelated micro-pattern that blends well into the environment at short distances but merges into a uniform silhouette at greater distances. UCP showed high effectiveness in infrared, which contributed to its introduction, but it was eventually replaced by OCP camouflage based on the MultiCam pattern.

The hat is comfortable to wear. The visor is a bit stiff, maybe if it had a different cut the hat would fit the head better. Overall impression is positive.

This is already the second such cap (I lost the previous one). Plus for large sizes (I have 62). Comfortable, stays on the head well. Great thing with the hidden pocket. In very hot weather, it's a bit too warm in it.
