Overall, I am very satisfied with the purchase, very nice shorts. They are very well made, the material looks good. The pockets are large. The pants are worth recommending.

For everyday wear, due to the pockets, these pants are very comfortable for the warm season. They get dirty a little faster than the olive ones and dry a bit slower than PolyCotton. For comfort, it's worth detaching the waistband adjustment, as it presses under the belt.

Very nice pants. Carefully made, as usual Helikon did the job. Good material—light and breathable. Loose fitting so does not restrict movement. Good product. I recommend.

Spacious, durable, and made from 100% natural material—for years I only bought these, alternating between desert camo and olive (+ khaki color for my father—since gifting them years ago, I haven't seen him wear any other shorts in the summer). They stay in good shape for a long time (over several [dozen?] years, only a few buttons have fallen off). The only time I wore them out more quickly (worn out inner thighs) was due to *very* intensive cycling. The only thing I dislike is the astonishing fact that they are now at the end of the series—I just hope Helikon will offer something even better in pure cotton as a replacement.

Capacious, durable, made 100% from natural materials, and available in several attractive colors. The only time I managed to wear them out faster than usual (rips in the crotch) was due to a *very* large amount of cycling. For me, they are practically flawless pants—for many years, when I need new shorts, I don't even look for anything else and just buy another pair of the same model...

Very nice shorts. I got convinced after buying long ones from the same material and have been wearing them successfully for a long time. Very good for the shooting range because they're roomy and don't restrict movement. And as usual, Helikon did a great job. I recommend, they're OK.

Generally, I am very satisfied. The pants are very well sewn. Spacious pockets. For me, a small drawback is that the cargo pockets are closed only with buttons (no Velcro) ... just a minor detail. The pants are worth recommending!

Very comfortable shorts. The legs are wide and do not restrict movement, especially with larger thighs. The pockets are practical and spacious. The buttons are poorly sewn on, but that's easy to fix.

The sizing is overstated. I usually wear XL, but even L is quite big. Besides that, the pants are sturdy. They don't get excessively hot in summer. The material feels nice to the touch. After a few hikes, nothing has happened to them.

Just like the green pants, these are super comfortable. Spacious, but thanks to that they look normal and full pockets don't get in the way when walking. The only thing is the buttons are poorly sewn—but that's easy to fix.

The shorts are very well made - except for the buttons coming off, but this often happens with Helikon (it's not a problem since they're easy to sew on). The legs are wide (finally shorts with normal width, not narrowed like everywhere else) and the pockets are spacious - when they're full, it's not uncomfortable to walk.

As with all Helikon pants. Very good quality, adjustable waist thanks to the drawstring—great feature for me. This is my third pair from this company and they work very well.

These are already my fifth Helikon BDU pants, three of which are short—that should be recommendation enough. Classic short pants, I really like the functional small pocket under the hip pockets. If I have to complain about something, it’s that the color is a bit darker than in the photo.

Good pants, but I don’t understand why the flap on the front of the large pocket is sewn shut, which makes it impossible to open fully. It's not a production error, just at least a strange design for this cut, so if this is important for someone, here's the mention :) I recommend, 5/5.

The Helikon BDU has never let me down and I think it's worth sharing my experiences with these pants with others. I ordered 3XL and the pants are a bit bigger and roomier, which makes them also very comfortable. In terms of usability or durability, I think only contract garments could match Helikon’s quality—of course, as usual, I had to reattach some buttons since they were poorly sewn, but that also happened with some contract clothing I’ve had. I wore them on a fairly warm day and it feels like you’re not wearing typical cargo pants at all—thanks to the cotton, the pants are quite breathable. I tested them during several hours outdoors and they’re very pleasant to wear, maybe even more comfortable than polycotton. The only comment—or rather observation—I have is that Helikon should bring back the old sizing (meaning, start making long BDUs in 3XL with a 120 cm waist), because it’s a bit limited and there are no sizes for bigger guys :p.
