Helikon-Tex Chicom Chest Rig Tactical Vest - Rhodesian Camo

Tactical vest style Chest Rig crafted from highly durable and abrasion-resistant Cordura with a density of 253 g/m2. Its modular design with angled edges enables the addition of extra components to the vest and customization to the operator’s requirements.

Positioned on the front are 3 pouches secured with adjustable flaps featuring Velcro closures, ideal for AK/AR-style magazines AK/AR. The flaps offer a removable option, allowing them to be swapped for included pullers. Multiple MOLLE/PALS webbing straps stitched both outside and inside the side panels allow for mounting extra pouches or gear containers.

Design supports expanding the ammunition carrying capacity from three to five slots. Two elastic bands sewn along the bottom allow attachment of a first aid kit, compact pouch, or other selected accessories. An interior flat pocket lined with soft Velcro is included within the vest.

Chicom Chest Rig comes outfitted with buckles and Velcros for integration with Plate Carrier vests. Removable and adjustable H-configuration straps provide an excellent fit to the user's body, while sewn loops deliver efficient routing for cables, antennas, or hydration tubes.

Rhodesian Camo represents a renowned camouflage pattern originating in the 1960s for the Rhodesian Armed Forces, now Zimbabwe. Engineered for operations amid the region’s conflicts—especially the Bush War (1964-1979)—the pattern was tailored to suit the southern African environment, encompassing arid bush, open grasslands, and sparse vegetation. What sets this design apart is its distinctive, hand-painted look, reminiscent of brushstroke artistry. Comprised of irregular, horizontal forms in varied shades of green and brown on a sandy or pale green base, the pattern utilizes a contrasting three-color scheme. The arrangement closely mimics natural elements like foliage, branches, and grasses, allowing the camouflage to break up the human silhouette and enhance concealment within thick, vegetated terrain.
