Helikon-Tex Chicom Chest Rig Tactical Vest - MultiCam

Tactical vest in the Chest Rig configuration crafted from highly durable and abrasion-resistant Cordura fabric with a weight of 253 g/m2. Thanks to its modular structure with contoured edges, the vest can be easily expanded with additional components and tailored to meet the individual requirements of the user.

At the front, 3 pouches with adjustable Velcro flaps are designed to accommodate AK/AR type magazines. The flaps themselves can be removed and exchanged for pullers included in the package. Numerous MOLLE/PALS straps are stitched on both the inside and outside of the side panels, allowing for the attachment of extra pouches or containers.

The construction enables the ammunition compartment capacity to be increased from three to five. Two elastic bands sewn at the bottom offer attachment points for a first aid kit, small pouch, or other gear. The interior of the vest features a flat pocket lined with soft Velcro.

The Chicom Chest Rig is fitted with buckles and Velcro, facilitating integration with Plate Carrier type vests. Removable and adjustable straps in an H-shaped arrangement provide an excellent fit to the user’s body, and loops sewn onto the straps offer secure management for cables, antennas, or hydration tubes.

MultiCam represents an advanced camouflage pattern, engineered in 2002 by the American company Crye Precision in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs), within the Objective Force Warrior initiative. Designed for maximum versatility, the pattern delivers effective concealment across diverse terrains and fluctuating environmental conditions. Incorporating seven distinct colors, MultiCam features gradient blends of green, brown, and beige hues, enabling seamless adaptation to its surroundings—taking on greenish tones in woodland landscapes or shifting to browns and beiges in arid, desert settings. Particularly in Central and Eastern Europe, MultiCam excels during autumn or among dried foliage. Its superior concealment capabilities have earned global acclaim, and the pattern is actively used by numerous military and elite special operations forces. In 2010, MultiCam was officially selected by the US Army as the standard camouflage for deployments in Afghanistan, replacing the former Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The design is also available to civilian markets, making it a preferred option for military enthusiasts and airsoft players alike.
