Helikon-Tex Chicom Chest Rig Tactical Vest IRR - wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland

Chest Rig tactical vest in wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camouflage, made of durable and damage-resistant Cordura with a grammage of 225 g/m2, with IRR/NIR properties that reduce the contrast of the material in the near infrared. The modular construction with cut edges allows the vest to be expanded with additional elements and adjusted to the user's needs.

The vest is made of Cordura 500D with a grammage of 225 g/m2. The material is characterised by high resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage, thanks to which it withstands intensive use well.

The outer surface is protected with a hydrophobic DWR coating, which limits the material's absorption of moisture and makes it easier to clean. The applied IRR/NIR properties reduce the reflection of infrared radiation from the surface of the material, making the vest less contrastive when observed using devices operating in the near infrared.

Located at the front, the 3 pouches closed with adjustable flaps with velcro fit AK/AR magazines. The flaps themselves are detachable and can be replaced with the pullers included in the set. Numerous MOLLE/PALS system webbing straps have been sewn onto both the outside and inside of the side panels, allowing additional pouches or utility pouches to be mounted.

The design allows for increasing the ammunition carrying capacity from three to five. Two elastic bands sewn onto the bottom allow an first-aid kit, a small pouch or other selected items of accoutrement to be attached. Inside the vest there is a flat pocket trimmed with soft velcro.

The Chicom Chest Rig model is equipped with Woojin Plastic buckles and velcro, which allow attachment to a Plate Carrier vest. The detachable, adjustable shoulder straps in an H configuration are responsible for a very good fit to the user's body shape, and the webbing loops sewn onto them provide effective securing for cables, an antenna or a hydration system tube.

The wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camouflage pattern is the camouflage currently used by the Polish Armed Forces - the first camouflage designed and introduced for widespread use in the Third Polish Republic. The 1993 pattern offers a combination of mimetic and disruptive properties through the use of irregular patches of different sizes. The colour scheme based on green, brown and black has been adapted to the conditions of Polish forests, making “Pantera” an apt choice for operations in local terrain. Uniforms in this camouflage are also the basic equipment of students of Military Uniformed Classes.
