Very good backpack - with a few reservations. It has all the advantages of the basic version of the EDC backpack and the added benefit that you can flatten or roll it up and put it into another backpack - which I use when I travel by plane somewhere, so I don't have to carry the main, larger backpack while sightseeing in the city. In addition, it has something that the EDC backpack lacks - those side stretch pockets, which are very useful. Unfortunately, there are drawbacks. As a 'lite' version, it is made of thinner material, which wears out more easily. I will have to replace my backpack soon because after 5 years it already has small holes in the bottom. The second related flaw is the back. There is no stiffening, only a symbolic lining of thin foam, and if you put a 2-liter water bottle in the main compartment, it will hit you in the back. There is also no ventilation, on a hot day the backpack sticks to you. It's no comparison to the great back padding in the basic EDC. It could definitely be improved. I would sacrifice the ability to roll it up for stiffer back padding, and I would like a stronger material. Something like the basic EDC backpack but without the MOLLE system, instead with the side pockets that the lite version has, would be ideal.
Crafted from nylon, this lightweight and robust backpack offers a capacity of 21 liters, making it ideal both for urban settings and outdoor excursions. Featuring a wide carrying handle, the bag can be conveniently transported by hand.
The main compartment is lined with velour, compatible with the Versatile Insert System®, enabling you to customize the interior with dedicated inserts.
Designed as the EDC (Every Day Carry) variant, the bag includes a spacious exterior pocket that closely matches the size of the main section.
Exceptional carrying comfort is ensured by the carrying system, equipped with quick-release, contoured, and adjustable-length suspenders, complemented by a chest strap. Two open side pockets accommodate bottles, canteens, or other small essentials.
An elastic cord is laced across the outer pocket, granting rapid lash-on capability for items such as a jacket or sleeping pad.
Other features:
- Durable YKK® double-sided zippers,
- Side compression straps secured with buckles,
- Chest strap,
- Velcro panel (Velcro) for attaching patches, emblems, such as a national flag, unit insignia, or Morale Patches, providing a distinct, personal touch to the backpack.

Very good backpack, works great in urban conditions, has a back stiffener with aluminum reinforcement for greater stability, a hydration system outlet, Velcro for attaching panels, and is very comfortable and durable.
-
Very good backpack, both for trips outdoors and for everyday use. Tested in heavy rain, during a night 10 km forest walk, and recently in the city. It offers the possibility of very good customization thanks to the internal hook-and-loop surface and D-rings. I own two pieces.

Backpack purchased last year in A.Green color. Good quality. It's important to note that it's a 'bare' version – you need to buy an extra pocket/insert for the back (currently 51 PLN) and an organizer/insert (about 20-25 PLN) that attaches to the front pocket. Without these, the backpack's functionality is average – pens, laptop, etc., will move around loosely. The side pockets for bottles, hats, umbrellas, etc. are a plus. I recommend it. Paweł

Excellent backpack. Very good stitching, absolutely no 'loose threads'. Spacious, great for short trips. It could have more internal pockets for small items. This would allow for better interior organization.

Helikon EDC Lite 21L Backpack - Black - great for the city and a trip to the forest. Thoughtful pockets, comfortable back, doesn’t stand out, but fits a lot. Totally for everyday use.

I rarely give reviews. But I’m actually buying a second one now because I left the first one on a train. It served me for 7 years, got it from my wife for my dad EDC and it survived everything with me, from mountains to trips with kids – this is the best backpack I’ve ever had. Light, extremely strong stitching, I carried groceries and gear in it – the zipper never snagged or broke, and even after many years, there is no visible wear, seams like steel. Very light and despite the years it looks like new (I had the gray color). The only minus is indeed the lack of a small internal pocket, and if someone wanted to nitpick – the side compression straps are a bit too high. If they were a few centimeters lower, you could also use them to secure a large water bottle, and then it would be perfect.
-
The backpack is light and spacious, but the downside is the lack of pockets/compartments (except for the side ones) in any of the compartments. To make it functional, you have to buy an insert panel like the Helikon Backpack Insert panel – which is an extra hundred.

Comfortable and spacious. Looks good, the only downside for me is wet back in the summer. The only minus. I would buy again. You can always carry it on one shoulder every now and then.
-
Light and gives the impression of being much less durable than the Cordura equivalent. The bottom part of the backpack is really thin. Maybe the specification of the used material is quite durable, but nylon does not inspire my confidence when carrying heavier items.
-
High quality workmanship, practical backpack for both the city and the forest for trips. As a bug-out backpack, it also convinces me. I am satisfied with the purchase. If someone wants to build such a set, it is especially worth considering and ... buying, I can only recommend it.

Very good backpack. It’s super light, you don’t feel it on your back, I have another one made of Cordura and it’s heavier. In my opinion, it’s perfect for the city and for long hikes. Even though it’s 21L, it’ll definitely hold more.

The backpack is very comfortable, the wide straps distribute the weight of a full backpack well, and additionally, the hip and chest belts help relieve the spine. All straps have Velcro at the ends, which helps to roll up and fasten any excess webbing. For me, the biggest drawback of this backpack is the zipper of the smaller compartment which is very hard to open, and the flap that covers it often gets caught in the zipper. Also, there are no pockets or organizers inside the backpack, which you have to buy separately later, but for me that was actually a plus.
-
Very well made backpack. The quality-to-price ratio is perfect.

I use it every day. Very lightweight backpack, which can fit a lot with the right arrangement. Additionally, the velcro on the backpack allows you to attach a patch for identification. Worth its price.
