Helikon-Tex Guardian Cummerbund Side Panels IRR - wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland
A set of two Cummerbund side panels in PL Woodland camouflage, designed to connect the front and rear sections of a Plate Carrier vest. The construction made of durable mesh and 350 g/m2 Field polyester is equipped with anti-slip Hypalon elements that increase the stability of the carried accouterment. A MOLLE/PALS system has been used to allow the attachment of additional equipment, and the material stands out for its NIR/IRR properties, reducing visibility in the near infrared range.
Durable mesh and Hypalon reinforcement
The construction consists of two side panels made of durable mesh, which ensures proper ventilation even with accouterment attached. 350 g/m2 Field polyester was also used. The central part of the panels is equipped with a reinforcement made of anti-slip Hypalon material, which stabilizes the carried equipment. The flexible construction allows adjustment to the body shape and proper fit of the vest. The material used is characterized by NIR/IRR properties, reducing visibility in the near infrared range. This solution supports camouflage during observation using night vision devices.
MOLLE/PALS system and velcro attachment
The panels feature a MOLLE/PALS system, allowing the attachment of compatible pouches and other elements of accouterment. The design is intended for use with Plate Carrier vests equipped with front Velcro panels. Attachment to the vest is done using velcro, which allows its front and rear sections to be connected. The Hypalon handles used make fastening and unfastening the panels easier.
wz. 93 pantera PL Woodland camouflage
The wz. 93 pantera PL Woodland camouflage pattern is the camouflage currently used by the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland - the first camouflage designed and introduced for widespread use in the Third Polish Republic. The 1993 pattern offers a combination of mimicry and disruptive properties thanks to the use of irregular patches of various sizes. The colour scheme based on green, brown and black has been adapted to the conditions of Polish forests, making “Pantera” a fitting choice for operations in local terrain. Uniforms in this camouflage are also part of the basic equipment of students in Military Uniformed Classes.

The velcro panel is an area with sewn-on Velcro tape that allows easy attachment of various additional items, such as patches or pockets.
Materials with IRR (Infrared Reflective) properties are designed to maximize the absorption and minimize the mission of infrared radiation, which is important for camouflage and avoiding detection by observation devices such as night vision devices.
MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) is a system for attachment of tactical equipment, used for example in backpacks or tactical vests. It provides the possibility of flexible and modular placement of various accessories and pockets, which allows personalization and optimal adjustment of the item to the specific needs of the user. It is widely used by the military, special services and survival and outdoor enthusiasts.
Hypalon is a synthetic rubber material with high resistance to weathering, chemicals and UV radiation. This rubber-textile composite is often used for exterior components that require high durability, such as pontoons.
PALS (Pouch Attachment Ladder System) is a modular mounting system for pockets and pouches, used in the MOLLE system. It consists of horizontally sewn rows of 1 inch (25.4 mm) wide, fixed spacing webbing (such as on a backpack) and vertical webbing for attachment and threading (on a pocket). This system is usually equipped with snaps, which further secures the pinned items.
