Encouraged by positive opinions, I decided to buy and test them. For me, the fit is perfect. I mainly tried them while cycling and hiking in the woods. They performed very well. Above all, they are very light, comfortable, and breathable. The material is very strong and of good quality. The shorts are slightly fitted, but this does not restrict movement. During a long cycling ride, I appreciated that the material doesn’t get dirty easily and doesn’t absorb odors much. The color is interesting and visible while cycling. I recommend buying them, I am satisfied.

Fantastic trousers for hot weather. In mud brown they don't stand out as 'uniform' clothing. The zippers are of good quality and don't open on their own. I recommend them.

Very comfortable shorts. The material they're made from is pleasant to the touch, flexible, breathable, and above all very light—almost unnoticeable. Very comfortable especially during hot weather. Lots of useful pockets. I would criticize the solution Helikon used in these shorts—a piece of fabric covering the side pockets is shared between two separate pockets: one with Velcro and one with a zipper. This solution can be inconvenient, because when you want to reach the zipped pocket, you have to fight a bit with the Velcro of the adjacent pocket to access the zipper. Here, I would definitely make the flap over the pockets into two separate ones. But this doesn't spoil the fantastic effect of the shorts as a whole—super comfortable clothing especially for these hot days. Maybe I can also complain that a few more color variants in different camouflages would be nice. But in general, I definitely recommend!!!

I recommend them, at a height of 175 cm and a weight of about 85 kg, size XL fits perfectly :) Light, breathable, do not restrict movement, perfect for kayaking, quick-drying!

I have a minor issue with the solution Helikon used in these shorts - the piece of material covering the side pockets is shared by two separate pockets: the one closed with velcro and the one with a zipper. This solution can be problematic because if you want to access the zippered pocket, you have to fight a bit with the velcro of the other pocket to reach the zipper. Here, I would definitely divide the flap over the pockets into two independent ones. But this does not ruin the overall fantastic effect of the shorts - they are extremely comfortable, especially for those hot days. One might also wish there were more color options in various camouflage patterns. But overall, I definitely recommend them!!!

I bought these shorts to have a backup for the UTS for warmer days, so for now they're just riding in my backpack. The functionality is as always; we'll see if the thinner material can handle the amount of stuff I carry with me.

The shorts are very comfortable, not tight, pleasant material that is easy to clean. A lot of functional pockets and instead of a button, there's a Velcro which always holds. I recommend.

If you like UTP but get too hot in the summer, these shorts are for you. They're breathable and have all the necessary pockets, and they don't restrict movement. The adjustable waistband means you might not even need a belt with them.

Comfortable, lightweight, waterproof, and surprisingly warm trousers. The stretchy material is durable and resistant to damage, and there are so many pockets that I don't even know exactly how many. The Velcro fastening holds really well, yet it doesn't restrict movement during sports and doesn't dig into the stomach.

Very nice and practical shorts, the material is quite elastic and airy, they are comfortable to walk in, very comfortable, great for mountain and forest trips, they work well on hot days.

The best shorts I have ever had! They are so light and comfortable, the pockets are great and easy to access. I have the ripstop model—these are more breathable. I recommend them, worth every penny.
