OTS Shorts (Outdoor Tactical Shorts) - a modernized version of the popular UTS model (Urban Tactical Shorts). Compared to UTS shorts, the OTS model is made from VersaStretch Lite material - characterized by exceptional lightness and breathability. The Teflon coating on the material's surface increases its resistance to stains/dirt. With a large number of pockets and their sensible placement, these shorts are perfect for urban conditions and will also perform well during outdoor activities. They represent an excellent compromise between military and civilian clothing - a discreet design, cargo functionality. An innovative fit, appropriate seams, and the fabric from which the trousers are made ensure above-average freedom of movement and durability.
elastic VersaStretch Lite material
The shorts are made from modern VersaStretch Lite fabric consisting of 93% nylon and 7% elastane. The material is characterized by low weight and very good breathability. The addition of elastic fibers allows the material to stretch in all directions, providing full freedom of movement during walking, running, climbing, or working in demanding terrain.
10 practical pockets
The trousers are equipped with ten pockets:
- two classic mesh pockets at hip height with reinforced edges
- four on the thighs (two wide mesh pockets with a zipper and two narrow ones with Velcro)
- four at the back (two wide mesh pockets and two narrow ones inside the wide ones)

Instead of a button, the trousers are equipped with a wide Velcro allowing for adjustment over approximately 6 cm. An elastic band is sewn into the waistband, improving the fit of the trousers to individual body features. The fly is closed with a zipper made by the well-known Japanese company YKK. The two front belt loops are equipped with additional loops at the bottom, allowing for attaching, e.g., a carabiner.

Nice material, overall fit and length are definitely a plus. As for remarks, it's quite a standard Helikon pants issue, i.e., a strange "ballooning" of material around the tailbone area when the pants are fastened with a belt. In every pair of Helikon pants, there's simply too much fabric there.

The shorts are very light and airy (they dry quickly after washing). The large number of pockets and the stretchy material make them very comfortable to wear. Very practical shorts. After several washes, the color is still the same. Overall, I recommend them.

Light, breathable shorts for everyday use on hot days. For me, they are a bit too rubbery and therefore tighter in the back, but maybe it will be better after a few washes. Overall, they're good.

The color is amazing - it stands out among the grays (even though I love gray). Super comfortable and functional. For the mountains, everyday wear, training, cycling, or the shooting range. The pocket layout is the same as in the long pants (I already have a set), so it's intuitive at the shooting range (competitions, training). Good price. Fast shipping (even ahead of schedule). They are great. I also have black and red ones, but these are my favorite. A bit of an investment, but the gray color hides dirt better than black. Light, breathable, and dry quickly. Amazing. I recommend both the shorts and the store.

The shorts are brilliant! Like upgraded UTSs, only with nicer material. It is flexible, but not too stretchy, providing freedom of movement. They will be perfect for the mountains or cycling. They're also great for hot weather because they dry quickly and are quite airy. The cut is nice, the pocket arrangement too, just like in UTSs. Another pair, I liked them so much.
