I bought the bag as a replacement for my DAA backpack with a cart and ammo box for shotgun IPSC competitions in Greece, where I can't take all my regular equipment on the plane. The bag holds upright box magazines for an open shotgun (29 cm), so the size is just right. I could probably fill a larger capacity bag, but it would be hard to carry it around the shooting range all day between stages, while a smaller bag wouldn’t have worked. I additionally bought a Helikon EDC organizer for the front pocket, attachable with Velcro, for small items. I'm also thinking about the Helikon Service Case to keep cleaning supplies in one place. The bag is solid - material, zippers, etc. It arrives (contrary to the promo video) fully assembled in a huge box, which didn’t fare well in transit with InPost. The bag has side stiffener panels that are arched (as mentioned in another review), which worried me at first, but once you stuff it with gear, the problem minimizes :) For transport, I’ll have to remove these panels and fold it flat for the suitcase. The construction, dividers and pocket layout give the impression of a thoughtfully designed product. I see similarities to good bags or backpacks for photographers, like Lowepro, which I’ve rolled in puddles and the gear inside stayed dry—I expect a similar experience here. The price is daunting, but the reviews are great, so I trusted the guntubers a bit.
