Helikon gloves meet all my expectations. Warm and comfortable. The wrist cuffs are great, they don't let the heat escape from under the gloves. Solid leather with a slightly Western vibe. I recommend them. Ordering from militaria.pl as usual was without any problems.

These are somewhat like gloves from a Chinese ad. They look great in photos and... that's it. + they look good - thin leather - very slippery - quite stiff - discolor and chafe quickly As for work gloves, they're rather stiff and very slippery. For most activities other than swinging an axe, you need to take them off, because they have zero anti-slip layers and their stiffness makes gripping difficult. It'd be enough to sew in a piece of thick suede or leather inside, like in welding gloves. Not only would grip improve, but it would also solve the main drawback—poor durability. I used my gloves for about an hour in total—chopped some branches for a fire and walked my dog—the gloves wore through from holding the hatchet and leash. And this wasn't even remotely intensive use. After that hour the gloves are discolored and the upper leather is noticeably chafed. In my opinion, these gloves are no good for work, they'd suit "fake lumbersexual" looks better, if not for the cheap plastic elements on the cuffs. In my opinion, these gloves are useless. For this price (over 230 PLN) they're not worth it, you can get seven pairs of leather work gloves from a hardware store for that. They won't be as pretty, but at least they'll be good for work. My photos show the gloves after a bit more than an hour of use. They were waterproofed before use with proper leather conditioner.

I hesitated for a long time whether to buy these gloves, mainly because of the price. I bought them a year ago and I am very satisfied. The gloves need to be waterproofed often. I do it once a month and additionally after each soaking. I use colorless leather grease by the Polish manufacturer Coccine for waterproofing. I recommend the product and the shop Militaria.pl.

Great gloves, warm and comfortable, you can hold tools like a hammer well, no slipping, it’s worth waterproofing them after the season. Overall, I recommend them.
-
Very good quality gloves. I ordered S but they were too tight, so I requested an exchange for M. The exchange was problem-free and size M is perfect for frosty days.
-
The gloves are excellently made. The sizing also matches the chart (my palm width is 10 cm—size S fits perfectly). I thought they'd be warmer at lower temperatures, but they handle -5°C just fine. I recommend!

According to the description, “Warm outdoor leather gloves, perfect for fieldwork at low temperatures.” After two seasons of use, I can definitely say that the above description does not reflect the product's features. To start, the gloves are definitely not warm. The lining is made of polyester, which is a synthetic material, so it does not protect hands from cold at low temperatures. The gloves can’t cope even at -5°C, and at -15°C it made no sense to wear them outside. The next drawback is the quality of workmanship. After the first weeks of wearing them (without any work being done), holes appeared in the lining. Another failing element is the cuffs, which started to unravel after a month of use. And all this just from wearing them during walks. According to the description, the gloves are suitable for outdoor work. I completely disagree. The gloves are thick and not flexible, making it impossible to do precise work or manipulate small items. Even with proper care, the leather quickly wears off and ends up looking like old, overused gloves. Even something like shoveling snow in these gloves can damage them quickly. These issues, along with poor thermal insulation and the low overall quality, mean this product is not suitable for fieldwork, especially in low temperatures. To sum up, for just over 200 PLN you get thick, inflexible gloves that won’t protect your hands from the cold even at only -5°C, and whose quality leaves much to be desired. Their overall usefulness for outdoor work is close to zero. I recommend looking for other winter gloves.

Very solid gloves in the "American" style. First impression: big, thick, and a bit stiff. Put them on, and they’re okay. Treated gently with oil, they became soft. The gloves are very warm. Be careful choosing the size; for example, I wear XXL Mechanics and took XL for these, which is a bit loose in width, but L might have been too short for my fingers. I recommend them.
-
Classy gloves—nice leather and relatively warm. I think there are better solutions for extreme cold, but when you’re moving/working they're sufficient. Above all, they look great and are resistant to moisture and wind.
-
Very nice winter gloves. As usual with Helikon, the product is top-notch. I wear size L but took M and they're OK. Great for the shooting range on winter days, although I have no idea how to shoot in them :)
-
Very warm and comfortable gloves. Visually, they look very sturdy. An additional plus is the cord tightening feature. The carabiner is a nice touch.
-
Very warm.
-
Initially, size M turned out to be too tight, so I ordered size L for comparison. Now they are perfect, warm, but at the same time, the hand doesn't overheat, nimble and allow operating a touch screen.
-
Warm, durable, good grip.

I've been using these gloves for the second winter now, they are very warm. The cord tightening feature is also nice.
