I have been using the jacket for over two years. Unfortunately, for this price I expected better quality. After half a year of use, the jacket started to pill from wearing a backpack, on the back and on the shoulders. In my opinion, the membrane parameters are overstated and in heavy rain the jacket starts to let water through. After about 1.5 years, the tapes on the seams at the collar and hood started to come off. It is indeed well tailored and comfortable. But unfortunately, I didn't notice any more advantages. Overall, at this price, I think you can buy something much better.

Recently, I became a huge enthusiast of the Helikon-Tex brand and I think they offer products with a great price-to-quality ratio. This jacket, although it is one of the more expensive models, convinced me with its waterproofness and durability – it withstands hiking in the forest without tearing. I use it every day in winter, it still effectively protects against rain and shows no signs of damage. I just wish the lining was a darker color instead of white, as it would suit the military style better.

The jacket meets expectations; compared to the Texar Comodo, it is definitely lighter, a bit easier to pack, and has much better membrane parameters, but loses out in terms of the number of pockets.

The jacket fits me great and looks awesome, plus it's really functional and works perfectly for cycling, especially now in autumn. If I wear something warmer underneath, I'll get through winter too. As always, I recommend the store—full professionalism.

Nice, lightweight jacket with decent waterproof parameters. Quite stiff. Nice, quite long underarm zippers. High pockets. High collar. Spacious hood. The prettiest color is, of course, coyote :-)))))))

The first impression is very positive. The jacket is carefully sewn and makes a good impression with its finish. Good, comfortable cut. Very pleasing fit of the hood. I survived a two-hour downpour in it and my wallet in the pocket didn’t get a single drop of water.

Very good quality waterproof jacket, breathability at a very high level, waterproof YKK zippers, a large hood with a visor make it an indispensable element for hiking in uncertain weather.

On the plus side - lightness, fits perfectly with the Patriot 2 fleece. On the minus side - no hand pockets! It could be thicker, and in the armpit vents, it could use a mesh so they don't open up too much. A huge minus is that the material pills! I do not recommend after a year of use.

Good jacket. 2 hours of brisk walking, a fleece underneath at about +4°C and it was very comfortable. It was very windy. Walking without a backpack and, of course, you won’t freeze, but the most important thing is that this jacket really breathes. Big plus.

Great jacket, highly recommend it. Too bad it doesn’t have hand pockets, they would be very useful. One tip – avoid campfires while wearing it, because the smell lingers for a very long time.

I am very surprised by the weight of the jacket, as light as a softshell. Comfortable, fits the body well. 186cm, 90kg, I took size M; if someone has similar measurements, I would rather recommend taking L so there's room under the jacket for a thicker fleece. Now I’m just waiting for rain to test how it performs in rainy conditions.

The jacket is only 'Hard' in name. After two months of use, it started to pill and lose its properties. This definitely happened because of carrying a shoulder bag (also from Helikon-Tex, which I recommend as it works well), since it’s only on one side. But from a jacket from this company and at this price, I expected more durability. I suspect that if I had worn a backpack for those two months, my entire back would be pilled, not just one side. So if it’s only for occasional wear, it might be okay – it protects from rain, has a deep hood, and conveniently placed pockets. Very good craftsmanship, just low resistance to abrasion...

Nice jacket! On the plus side – quality of workmanship, lightness, fits perfectly with the Patriot 2 fleece. On the minus side – no hand pockets! It could be thicker, and the armpit vents could use a mesh so they don’t open up too much.

Helikon did not disappoint me again, the jacket is great. It is very thin, so it takes up little space and is lightweight. For me, it is perfect for the mountains. The jacket isn't cheap, but compared to other brands with such parameters, it's actually inexpensive. I recommend it.

Very thin and light hardshell. Good fit (although that's very individual). Tested so far in light rain and the DWR worked very well. Only comment – the armpit vents – when open and with the material positioned a certain way, you get a 'hole' under the armpit. Of course, this makes ventilation easier, but some thin mesh could be sewn in to hold the edges together a bit.
