When buying this jacket, you need to know there are no compromises here—everything is made to be as small and lightweight as possible. It is well made, but when compressing it tightly into the pocket, the seams raise concerns about whether they might eventually give way. The material is delicate and needs to be handled with care, but it doesn’t appear cheap. The hood fits the head perfectly, and the zipper goes up right under the nose. The jacket is cut rather loosely and is relatively long. The cuffs are quite narrow compared to the width of the sleeves, although they fit almost perfectly at the wrist. During very intense physical activity, you can actually get quite warm in it. There are many online comparisons between the Tramontane and Windrunner jackets from Helikon. It is very wind-resistant and will also withstand light rain (for a while). To ensure even greater thermal comfort, I recommend wearing an additional layer underneath, even just a thin sweatshirt.

First impressions: the jacket is very light, the material is thin, but it doesn't feel as delicate as I expected — which is of course a plus. It compresses tightly into a pocket, but we receive it folded on a cardboard like a shirt, of course in foil. The Tiger Stripe camouflage looks very nice in person, and contrary to expectations it goes well with many things. The jacket is quite long, and the sleeves are not too short either.

The Tramontane jacket fits in a pocket, is lightweight and well-fitted. Very well made, it can withstand light rain and provides thermal comfort on cooler evenings. You can always have it with you – it weighs almost nothing. I'm 183 cm tall and weigh 78 kg, and size M fits perfectly even if I wear something underneath. The Taiga Green color looks amazing in person. Size L would be too big. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Size: XXL
It is very lightweight, so you can always carry it with you; when folded, it takes up little space and even fits in a chest pocket. It works great for running, trail running, cycling, and similar activities.

Size: L
I usually choose size L, so I ordered this size as well, and it fits perfectly over a T-shirt or a long-sleeved shirt. The material is very thin, but it protects well against the wind during activities or keeps you warm when you stop. It takes up very little space and can easily be carried with you just in case.

Very lightweight jacket, ideal to take with you. I bought it with the intention of keeping it in my fishing bag for frequent Scottish rain. It protects well against wind and provides decent insulation during light rain. It's practically weightless and can be easily folded into its own pocket.

This jacket is a typical outer protective layer for wind and rain, like runners have, except this one is in more tactical colors ;) It is very light and compact.

As usual, a great jacket from Helikon-Tex! It's my favorite among windbreakers. Even my wife agreed, so I had to buy another one. I'm 182 cm tall, weigh 77 kg, chest 101 cm – size M fits perfectly! You can easily wear a T-shirt and a shirt underneath it.

The jacket does come in camouflage and is great for the shooting range or tactical training, but it's also excellent for the mountains. It provides great protection against wind and light rain.
-
It is lightweight and practical, I took it on an outdoor trip and I am satisfied; it's one of the most comfortable things I've had the chance to wear. The cut is well-fitted, so it can easily be paired with other clothes. I definitely recommend it.

Currently, I use this almost every day in various conditions. I appreciate the lightness and small size. I can definitely recommend the purchase.
-
Great jacket for windy days, if you want to shield yourself from the wind, I highly recommend it. Another advantage is the possibility of folding it into a small pillow shape. At this price, I recommend it to everyone.

I am very satisfied with the quality of the jacket and the possibility of packing it into really small dimensions. I already have several models of this jacket, and my newest one is the PL Woodland version, which is perfect for English forests. The only downside for me is the light, white logo on the jacket, which, in my opinion, does not match the rest of the well-designed product.

Nice jacket, fits in a pocket. Tested in the wind, works well over a thin fleece. Size XL for a big guy – I'm 184cm tall and weigh over 95kg – fits great. The jacket isn’t suitable for heavy rain, but it's perfect for sports activities. I recommend it.

For me, it's fantastic. Works as described. When compressed, it's really small, fits in a bag or backpack pocket. Pretty good waterproofness. Also protects well against the wind. Ideal for spring (and not only) outings. I've been using it for quite a while and it still works flawlessly. I recommend it despite the high price.
