I really liked the flex series for its increased durability compared to rip stop. The material is more resistant to abrasion and getting dirty. At the promotional price, the UTP flex trousers are the best choice as everyday work pants and for work in the garden.
Helikon-Tex UTP Flex Pants - PenCott WildWood
Delivering modern performance, tactical pants UTP (Urban Tactical Pants) are crafted from premium Nyco RipStop material (50% cotton, 50% nylon), renowned for its exceptional resistance to abrasion and tearing, while also offering a lighter weight and quicker dry time compared to garments made from 100% cotton. With an abundance of strategically-placed pockets, these pants are ideally suited for urban use and provide reliable functionality during various outdoor pursuits.
Above-average freedom of movement and durability
A perfect balance between tactical and civilian apparel—subtle profile paired with all the practical features of combat trousers.
Thanks to an innovative cut, precision-placed seams, and the quality of the fabric, wearers benefit from exceptional mobility and enhanced durability.

Featuring twelve pockets, these pants offer exceptional storage capability:
- Two traditional hip pockets with reinforced rims ensure durability.
- Four additional thigh pockets include two roomy zippered compartments and two slim pockets secured with Velcro.
- On the back, there are four more pockets—two spacious Velcro-closure pockets, each complemented by a slim internal pocket.
- Located at the groin, two internal compartments are ideal for carrying a tactical flashlight or a spare magazine.
Pockets integrated at knee height inside the legs are designed to accommodate protective pads.
Easy fit of the pants to the figure
In place of a traditional button, the pants feature wide Velcro fastenings, providing 6 cm of adjustability. The waistband incorporates a sewn-in elastic band to enhance the fit for various body shapes.
Areas above the rear pockets and within the crotch are reinforced with an extra layer of VersaStretch nylon fabric.

Helikon being Helikon, we’ve got great trousers here at a pretty good price, and so far they seem impossible to wear out. Lots of pockets, roomy, plus points for the zippers and durability. I use them every day out in the field and I’ve had them for almost a year—absolutely no signs of wear, even after rough rides there’s no trace of damage. I highly recommend them. The only downside is that they don’t have drawstrings, although there are holes for them so you can put some in or make your own. Also, when it comes to length, you need to be careful because they’re slightly too long.

One of my favorite pairs of pants. They are very comfortable and durable, as other positive reviews prove. They hold up well in the wash and are hard to ruin. I recommend them!

I bought this for my son so he would have a practical solution in black. Thanks to this, all the small items are well organized and he can always keep them with him. It is a comfortable and durable product, offering good value for money. For many years we have chosen Helikon-Tex trousers almost exclusively, so the decision to go with this brand was obvious.

Ordered as a trial in the flex version (previously, I used rip-stop) and, as with the whole series of these pants, I was not disappointed. Very comfortable, and the durability is also satisfactory.
-
I have two pairs of these pants in olive and I really regret that they no longer make them in multicam, because I am currently switching to that camouflage. The pants are great for everyday use in the city as well as outdoors. Comfortable, soft, and breathable.

These are my favorite pants for training and for the shooting range. They are super comfortable, don't chafe, and dry very quickly. The only thing you might complain about is that they rustle quite loudly, which can sometimes be a problem.
-
The trousers are comfortable, but the cut is a bit more fitted than I expected, yet they still fit well. I ordered them together with knee pads, which can be easily attached. Overall, I'm satisfied, but I haven't tested their durability yet. If I find any defects, I'll update my review.

One of the best models of these pants. The material used is much more durable than regular rip stop. It gets dirty less easily, is more resistant to wear and tears. The practicality of these pants is outstanding, just like all from the UTP family.
-
These are definitely the best pants I have ordered here – they are incredibly comfortable, durable, and stretchy. In my opinion, they offer great quality for the price; I think they are the best choice available on this site. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Excellent trousers from our Polish manufacturer. An interesting concept, mainly the placement and design of the pockets. There are quite a few for rifle magazines, but there are also zippered ones. YKK zipper, Helikon doesn't skimp here. The trousers are generally fitted, more so than the BDU, but a little less than the MBDU from Helikon. They are also a bit shorter than that model, which doesn't mean they are short. I highly recommend these trousers!

I can wholeheartedly recommend these pants, especially at the current, lower price. The workmanship is first class, very solid. There is a large number of belt loops on the waist, some even double. The fit is at a high level and at the same time does not restrict movement. By fitted, I mean not too wide, not too narrow—not skinny jeans. Inserts made of elastic material further add to the comfort. The cargo pockets are higher than usual, so when loaded they won't swing around as much and hit against your legs, plus they're so huge that you can pack a lot into them. A B5-sized book fits in easily (in case anyone is interested). The size chart gives the actual measurements. The only downside I found is that the material doesn't breathe very well. It should improve after a few washes.
-
Perfectly fitted, the size is spot on, very comfortable, and the raised pocket guarantees complete freedom of movement. It's a versatile and solid option. The fabric is resistant to abrasion and the impregnation makes it perfect for outdoor use, while the comfort matches that of sportswear. Despite being more expensive than the standard model, the greater flexibility fully compensates for the cost with frequent use.
-
The trousers are very well made. The material is great! But the biggest downside of the trousers is the large Velcro instead of a button, which comes undone every time you need to use the bathroom, and the zipper at the fly is too short!!!!! Such Velcro for adjusting the size should be on the sides of the trousers!!!!!! That's why I'm giving only 3 stars instead of 5, because it's a big drawback!!!!

I don't like these pants. Even though they are really nice and comfortable, when moving they make a sound similar to a rustling plastic bag. It's not very bothersome, but because of that, they aren't suitable for situations where I care about moving quietly.
