Helikon-Tex UTS PolyCotton Stretch Rip-Stop 6" shorts - Tiger Stripe

UTS shorts (Urban Tactical Shorts) are short tactical shorts with a universal fit, designed for both urban applications and outdoor activities. They are made from durable PoliCotton Stretch Rip-Stop material, combining durability with appropriate elasticity and wearing comfort. The model is equipped with 10 functional pockets, ensuring convenient gear carrying.

The main material is PoliCotton Stretch Rip-Stop (50% polyester, 48% cotton, 2% elastane) with a grammage of 220 g/m2, characterized by high resistance to abrasions and tears. The Rip-Stop structure reinforces the fabric, reducing the risk of mechanical damage, and the addition of elastane improves elasticity and user comfort. The modern fit and reinforced seams ensure proper freedom of movement and the durability of the shorts.

The shorts feature 10 spacious pockets:

• 2 classic hip pockets with reinforced edges
• 2 wide cargo pockets on the thighs, fastened with a zipper
• 2 narrow thigh pockets, fastened with Velcro
• 2 wide rear pockets
• 2 narrow rear pockets located inside the wide pockets

The shorts are fastened with a YKK zipper and a wide Velcro that allows for waist circumference adjustment within a range of about 6 cm. An elastic band is used in the waist to improve the fit to the silhouette. Belt loops allow for the use of a belt up to 50 mm wide, and two front loops are additionally equipped with loops for attaching accessories.

Tiger Stripe is a family of camouflage patterns originating in Southeast Asia, the most popular variant of which is the pattern developed in the Republic of Vietnam. Its design is based on the French Lizard pattern, adapted for tropical conditions. Tiger Stripe consists of irregular, brushstroke-like stripes in shades of green and brown and wider, grayish lines, placed on an olive or khaki background. Such an arrangement works particularly well in dense jungles and tropical forests, where it effectively camouflages the silhouette among low and medium vegetation. The camouflage makes it difficult to detect at close range and allows one to blend into the dynamic, shaded vegetation background. The name "Tiger Stripe" alludes to the coat of tigers - the pattern imitates the natural striped color pattern, which works well in conditions that require effective contour breakdown in dense greenery.
