All in all, a mat is a mat. Is it good? I don't know, it seems solid and a big plus for the carrying strap—you can attach it to a carabiner and carry it around all day. Not too big, not too small, it insulates from the ground and that's about it. Well, that's what it's made for after all. Would I spend over 60 zlotys on it again... I don't know. I'm a fan of the brand and that's why I chose this one and not some foldable model for 4 zlotys from here or there. Is it worth spending 60 zlotys? If you have the money, go for it—you won't waste it—but whether you're overpaying is your own subjective feeling.

For me, the seat pad is an inseparable part of my gear when I go to the forest, and it has even been useful in the city, for example when it's wet. An undeniable plus is the compactness of Helikon's solution, as the mat doesn't take up much space in the backpack, or can be attached to the belt. And although it isn't thick, it provides a certain level of comfort on hard surfaces and, most importantly, insulates well, for example on concrete.

I've been using this mat for 5-6 years now. It's perfect!!! Some colleagues here write that maybe a slightly bigger or softer one would be useful... I have one like that from militaria.pl, but this one fits perfectly in the side pocket of my cargo pants. So, to paraphrase: "What's the best mat? The one you have with you." Maybe it sounds a bit funny, but if you have to handle emergency technical matters in the city, sitting on a dirty pile of dismantled, for example, paving blocks is like sinking into a soft armchair at home if the work drags on, and there's a mat waiting for you in your pocket.

Another piece of equipment in Adaptive Green that I am collecting. At first glance, the mat could be a bit bigger, but surely someone smarter than me has calculated it (or with a smaller backside). The possibility to fold/compress and attach it to anything is great. The price is high but with the summer promotion it's acceptable. I recommend it.

I always have it with me in my backpack, I don't even notice it's there. Interestingly, I have it in olive color on coyote and there's hardly any difference. It's nice that it's compact, maybe a bit small, but it's better to have it than not, and what I appreciate is that, unlike other foams, I can attach it on the outside thanks to the fastening, which saves space inside the backpack.

First impression after unpacking is that it's very small. Nevertheless, it's sufficient for one person's needs and it's lightweight and doesn't take up much space in a backpack. When folded, it fits in a small backpack pocket. You can also attach it to a backpack using the Molle/Pals system and always have it at hand. I've already bought 4 of these mats because they are very well made, light and compact. This one matches the Helikon Groundhog 10 l adaptive green backpack very nicely. The color difference is minimal but that's due to different materials.
