I bought the jacket based on my friends' opinions. I was not disappointed. The size is a perfect fit. The jacket is lightweight. A big plus is the ability to compress it into the included pouch, which makes it easy to transport. I wore my friend's jacket for a short period, and it worked great. Despite its size, it was warm. It can be used as an outer layer or as insulation under another layer. I wore it both under and over the Helikon Patriot fleece. All this made me decide to buy my own.
A lightweight jacket offering insulation and reliable protection from cold, wind, and light rain. Constructed from a rip-stop nylon shell featuring a rip-stop weave, the fabric is exceptionally tear-resistant. The interior fill is Climashield Apex, minimizing heat loss and ensuring optimal warmth.
Two traditional hip pockets with fleece lining shield hands from the cold. The chest pocket includes compartments ideal for electronic devices and features a cable port. An additional internal pocket provides extra storage.
Enhanced wind resistance is achieved with a collar drawstring and an internal flap protecting the zipper—equipped with a two-way YKK zipper.
Shoulder pockets come with velcro panels for attaching various patches or emblems, such as national flags, unit patches, or Morale Patches—allowing for personal customization of your jacket.
The Wolfhound jacket is extremely light, compressible, and easy to pack, retaining its functional properties even after repeated packing.

Camouflage Flecktarn
Flecktarn stands as a renowned German military camouflage design, officially adopted by the Bundeswehr in 1990. Featuring a composition of small, irregularly shaped spots in five hues—commonly dark green, olive, brown, black, and beige—the pattern employs a dense distribution of dots and softly blended color edges. Flecktarn skillfully breaks up the outline of the wearer in woodland environments, dense shrubbery, or against forest floor backgrounds. Developed specifically for the European climate and particularly effective in temperate regions, Flecktarn continues to serve as a primary camouflage for the German armed forces, as well as for other military and law enforcement personnel. Widespread acclaim for its concealment capabilities has led to multiple variants and adaptations internationally.

Great spring jacket. Of course, it’s not made of a material that can withstand contact with sharp protruding elements in the environment, but that’s not what it was made for—and for ordinary casual city walking or professional activities, it’s perfect.
-
The jacket could be perfect in terms of cut, weight, size when folded, number of pockets, zippers, thermal properties, and camouflage effectiveness, but it has a serious flaw: the material does not resemble real ripstop and tears very easily—even a small blackberry thorn can damage it. It’s a shame, because this is clothing intended for outdoor activities, and the chosen camouflage (Pencott Wildwood) was created with plant environments in mind, where the presence of thorny plants such as blackberries is unavoidable in Europe.

Very warm, yet quite light jacket – perfect for cold days. The insulation performs its job well even in humid conditions, and the cut makes it comfortable to wear. Solid craftsmanship and practical pockets make this my proven choice for outdoor activities.
-
Great sweatshirt. I especially appreciate it because I previously bought the same model in a military shade and the version with a hood! When folded, it can be stored in the included small bag, which means it doesn’t take up space in travel luggage, while still providing good insulation and being very lightweight.

I don't know what more I can add, since many positive things have already been said. The jacket was delivered very quickly after ordering and at first glance it looks great! I usually wear a size between M and L, so I chose L and it was the right choice, especially if you want to wear something thicker underneath, like a sweater or a sweatshirt. I haven't had the chance to test it outside yet, but even at home I can feel that it insulates heat well and the material is really pleasant. I'm seriously considering buying the version with a hood :)

The jacket is comfortable, lightweight, and well-made, making it perfect for transitional seasons. The pockets are well-designed, and the compression bag included with the set makes it easy to store and transport the jacket. I am very satisfied, I see no downsides.

The jacket is fantastic both for insulation and as a separate outer garment, very warm and lightweight. I take it with me everywhere because it's my third Wolf jacket. By the way, this version in wz 93 has Velcro on both sleeves. I RECOMMEND!!

The Wolfhound jacket, in the version without a hood, is the perfect addition to your wardrobe for harsher conditions and an appropriate alternative to heavy fleece or softshell jackets. The comfort-to-weight ratio is at a high level! In case of a harsh winter, however, I would propose the stand-alone version with a hood. Still, it's best to buy both, because there is no better product of this type at this price level. I highly recommend it!

The Wolfhound jacket, in the version without a hood, is the perfect complement to a softshell set, as an alternative to heavy fleece jackets. The insulation/weight/packability ratio is at the highest level! The lack of a hood will not cause discomfort when adding an extra layer of softshell or a membrane hardshell. If you need a stand-alone winter jacket, I would choose the version with a hood, but as an insulating layer – the version without a hood. The best is to get both, because there is no better product of this type at this price level. I recommend it!
-
Great jacket, takes up little space and provides excellent warmth. It fits easily under a uniform sweatshirt, does not stick out. It gives thermal comfort. Highly recommended.
-
I’ve never had such a good jacket, it perfectly protects against cold down to about -4 degrees. The material is very breathable, so there's no need to take off the jacket when entering a warmer room.
-
Nice jacket, unfortunately it is too short for me. At first, I bought size M, which was much too small; with L, it's better, but I decided on the version with a hood, which is even longer and does not increase the volume in the chest.
-
I use the compact jacket on colder days, usually keeping it packed in a cover in my backpack while out in the field. It's thin yet holds warmth well; with the right choice you can wear something thicker underneath and it doesn't restrict movement, which really helps while resting.

Good jacket. Nothing to complain. But the size is bit small. If you are choosing between tho sizes, I recommend to choose bigger one. Also the jacket surface is soft, and it will tear easily against sharp edges, so be careful.
