Hultafors HB Aby Axe

Axe designed for woodworking tasks. The straightforward blade profile, grind, and integrated finger notch in the axe head make it ideal for detailed work, such as carving. Aby is named after the closest village to Hults Bruk, where a significant number of workers were based in the mid-20th century.

The axe head is crafted from forged Swedish carbon steel, utilizing traditional techniques that date back centuries. The steel is struck up to 60 times during forging, enhancing its strength and density for superior durability.

A long, slim, and ergonomically contoured handle reduces weight while delivering effective striking power. Constructed from hickory wood and finished with linseed oil for added resilience and grip.

A leather sheath is included for safe blade protection.
