The hatchet in the Premium version comes at a price, but you have to pay for quality. I am very satisfied with the purchase. The quality and workmanship are at the highest level. Highly recommended.
Trekking axe designed specifically for outdoor and bushcraft enthusiasts. Perfectly suited for tasks such as chopping wood for campfires or constructing a basic shelter, this model ranks among the most adaptable tools available from Hultafors. The blade features a convex grind, where the wedge sides are slightly rounded, enhancing the edge's strength and resilience. The name Hultan is inspired by the stream that once powered a water wheel at the brand’s original forge.
The axe head is crafted from forged Swedish carbon steel, produced using time-honored forging techniques. During forging, the steel is struck up to 60 times, which improves its density and overall durability.
Handle features an ergonomic design and is made from hickory wood treated with linseed oil for increased longevity.
Included in the package is a leather sheath that safeguards the blade.

A very neat and handy hatchet. Great for camping! In the perfect size to attach it to a backpack. It’s very comfortable to work with, using it doesn’t tire your hand. Professional equipment for years. I recommend it.
-
Elegant, insanely sharp, and with a great leather cover. You can feel the quality, it's worth treating with linseed oil and finishing with wax mixed with the oil, and wrapping paracord under the head just below the "ears," which add a professional look and extra protection.
-
A very professional hatchet. Well-made and of the highest quality steel. Cheap and chops like crazy. Practically a lifetime warranty. And that leather guard… Worth its not-so-small price.
-
A very high-quality hatchet. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
-
It's pricey, but worth every cent. A class of its own.
-
A good camp hatchet, just right for a backpack or for small household tasks.
-
Very neat, atmospheric (marks, wood), and it cuts incredibly well.
-
Handy, perfect for camping, in an ideal size to attach to a backpack. I recommend it!

Great product, no complaints.

The handle's color is actually completely different, it's light. You can see the correct one on the Helikon website. Unfortunately, because of that, the hatchet that seemed premium now looks more like one from a supermarket. Pity. Still, it’s a solid hatchet with a 50-year warranty. Btw. my product's length is 382mm, weight without cover is 715g, and with the cover it's 791g.
