Hultafors Stalberg Axe 0.85 kg

Carpenter's axe designed specifically for woodworking. The blade features a simple Scandinavian grind. A notch in the axe head provides space for fingers, allowing for secure hand positioning above the cutting edge during detailed tasks. Named in honor of Ernest Stalberg, one of Hultafors' most skilled blacksmiths from the early 20th century.

The head is crafted from forged Swedish carbon steel using traditional techniques passed down through generations. The steel is struck up to 60 times during forging, enhancing both density and durability.

A straight, symmetrical hickory wood haft serves as the handle, finished with a treatment of linseed oil for added resilience.

Included is a leather sheath offering protection for the blade.
