The leash is made very solidly, it has performed excellently during daily walks for the past four months. The length of 272 cm gives my Malamute/Spitz the right amount of freedom, and the shock absorber effectively reduces pulling. The leash can be easily shortened with a buckle (by removing the section with the shock absorber) or you can use the lower handle for more control over the dog. There is a carabiner by the upper handle, which I use to attach to the D-ring on my belt for hands-free walks. The clasp for the collar/harness is easy to use and really secure. The price is high, but the product is definitely worth its value.
