The Ka-Bar knife stands as an iconic design, originating in World War II when it was crafted to meet the requirements of American military personnel. Renowned for its robust build and superior craftsmanship, it has earned a solid reputation among both armed forces and civilians. Exceptional durability and versatility have established it as one of the world’s most esteemed and recognizable combat knives.

The blade utilizes hardened Cro-Van 1095 steel, guaranteeing remarkable strength and resilience during demanding use. With a Clip Point shape, the blade delivers precise cutting capabilities, while the partially serrated edge provides enhanced effectiveness in challenging conditions. The prominent shallow fuller and engraved “U.S. ARMY” inscription highlight its military heritage. A black, anti-reflective coating gives the blade a tactical finish.

The handle is made from stacked layers of buffalo leather, compressed under high pressure. This construction method secures a comfortable and reliable grip, which proves crucial in fast-paced situations. A reliable steel cross guard shields the user’s hand from accidentally sliding onto the blade, offering added safety.

Included is a brown leather sheath for safe and practical storage of the knife. Praised for its trustworthiness and timeless look, this knife remains a favored selection for professionals and enthusiasts alike over many decades.

Ka-Bar

Militaria.pl is a premium dealer of Ka-Bar.

Ka-Bar is a brand whose history dates back to the late 19th century, and which gained real fame during World War II, when the Fighting Utility model was officially adopted by the US Marine Corps. The durable and versatile knife quickly became legendary, proving itself both in combat and in the daily tasks of soldiers. The name Ka-Bar itself comes from the 1920s, when a trapper described in a letter how he managed to “kill a bear” with a Union Cutlery knife. In 1952, wanting to emphasize the power of this symbol, the company officially changed its name to Ka-Bar Knives Inc., and its products are still considered a model of reliability today. An important chapter in the brand's history is also its collaboration with Ethan Becker, which resulted in the Becker series, highly valued by users, combining practical solutions with a modern approach to knife design.

The knife is amazing! The size is perfect, the craftsmanship is top-notch, and it's super sharp—I already cut myself in the third minute :) The Ka-Bar 1219 is perfect, and the leather finish, which I hesitated about for a long time, turned out to be the best choice. I recommend it!

A nice little knife for many tasks (opening packages, cutting food, cutting tape during ASG games). In addition, there is a beautiful leather holster that you can attach to your belt. I also recommend buying a stone to sharpen the knife from time to time.

Brilliant. You can use it for basic kitchen tasks, sharpening sticks, prying, and even cutting small trees. The saw on this knife goes through like butter (even through my finger). 1095 steel does not disappoint, it holds its edge well and is practically indestructible. There is no better fixed-blade knife at this price. The whole thing is very nice and solid. I recommend it.
