Katadyn Vario Water Filter - Black

A compact and lightweight filter featuring an advanced filtration system capable of processing approximately 2000 liters of water. Effectively removes bacteria, protozoa, cysts, algae, spores, and sediment. The included hose draws water directly from the source, pre-filters it, and then delivers it straight into a container.

The design incorporates 3 types of filters. The initial ceramic filter eliminates sediments and microorganisms present in lakes and rivers. A fiberglass filter defends against bacteria and protozoa, while the replaceable activated carbon granulate imparts a natural flavor to the water and neutralizes unpleasant odors.

With the Multi-Stage Filtration System, users may select between two modes of water purification:
- Longer Life mode extends filter service life and provides a purification rate of 1 liter per minute,
- Faster Flow mode delivers rapid filtration at a rate of 2 liters per minute.

The filter's Adapter Base allows attachment to select wide-mouth bottles (e.g., Naglene Wide Mouth), while the lower outlet enables filtered water to be poured directly into a vessel.

Compact dimensions support effortless portability, making the filter ideal for environments with restricted access to bottled water. A rubber base ensures stable, upright placement and reduces the risk of tipping.
