Here you can easily maintain the predetermined sharpening angle by rubbing against the stone or diamond, especially for those who can't "hold the angle by hand." I approached this device more out of curiosity, but it turned out to be really pleasant to use. It clearly helps maintain the blade angle—I emphasize "helps" because the magnets and stop screws don’t hold the blade like a vice. In any case, the sharpening results for kitchen knives are very satisfying compared to sharpening on the same stone by hand.
