Very light and sharp folder, solid workmanship from Kershaw, I recommend it as an EDC.
Folding knife designed for reliable everyday carry EDC use.
The drop point blade is crafted from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel and features a satin finish. Quick deployment is enabled by a flipper, which also acts as a small crossguard when open, safeguarding your hand against slipping. The opening action is enhanced by the advanced KVT bearing system (Kershaw Velocity Technology). Jimping along the spine provides a secure and stable thumb placement.
The ergonomically contoured handle is constructed from sturdy G10 glass-epoxy composite with added carbon fiber accents. Its textured surface delivers excellent anti-slip performance. A lanyard hole is integrated at the end of the handle. Safe operation is guaranteed by a steel liner lock, which is disengaged with the thumb to prevent unintended closure.
Optimal daily portability is offered by a spring steel clip in a tip-up configuration, making it easy to attach the knife to a belt or pocket edge. The clip can also be repositioned to the opposite side.

Kershaw is an American knife brand, founded in 1974 by Pete Kershaw in Oregon, which from the very beginning has focused on the highest quality and practical solutions for hunters, anglers, and everyday users. In 1977, the company was acquired by the Japanese Kai Group, allowing it to combine American innovation with Japanese craftsmanship. In 1998, Kershaw revolutionized the market by introducing the SpeedSafe assisted opening mechanism, and in the following years won prestigious Blade Show awards for models such as the Tyrade with Composite Blade technology combining two different types of steel. The brand is also known for its collaboration with renowned knifemakers, including Ken Onion, Ernest Emerson, and Rick Hinderer, which has resulted in iconic models such as the Leek and Cryo.

Personally, I prefer slightly larger folders, but for a girl as a first pocket or handbag knife, it will be suitable, it’s very light and elegant. One downside is the flipper, which can hurt your nail a bit when opening; other than that, it’s great.

A small, lightweight knife by Sinkevich. The mechanics are excellent. The build quality is what you’d expect from Kershaw. It’s a budget option from the KAI stable, so the price matches the materials used. It’s worth having a T8 handy because the pivot screw tends to loosen often.

The blade length in relation to the knife’s petite size is definitely a plus. Lightweight and discreet. The deep carry clip makes the knife disappear in your pocket. Unfortunately, the lock on the folded knife is not sufficient and when you toss it upwards, it can open by itself.

Compact and lightweight. The detent holds quite firmly. I have no complaints about the steel; it’s a typical budget model but has no flaws. I recommend it.

I recommend it. Great knife for EDC. For me, it turned out a bit too small, but my wife uses it and is very satisfied.
