Great knife, highly recommend.
The classic balisong knife from the American brand Kershaw features a blade with a Clip-Point profile, crafted from Swedish Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel. Renowned for its ease of sharpening and exceptional edge retention, the blade's surface is treated using the Stonewash finish.
Blade deployment is enhanced by Kershaw's dual KVT bearing system (Kershaw Velocity Technology). A robust latch-type lock securely holds the butterfly knife in both closed and open positions.
The handle is constructed from stainless steel, ensuring a reliable grip and excellent control during operation.

Kershaw is an American knife brand, founded in 1974 by Pete Kershaw in Oregon, which from the very beginning has focused on the highest quality and practical solutions for hunters, anglers, and everyday users. In 1977, the company was acquired by the Japanese Kai Group, allowing it to combine American innovation with Japanese craftsmanship. In 1998, Kershaw revolutionized the market by introducing the SpeedSafe assisted opening mechanism, and in the following years won prestigious Blade Show awards for models such as the Tyrade with Composite Blade technology combining two different types of steel. The brand is also known for its collaboration with renowned knifemakers, including Ken Onion, Ernest Emerson, and Rick Hinderer, which has resulted in iconic models such as the Leek and Cryo.

At first it moves a bit stiffly, but once it loosens up it spins brilliantly.

A very positive surprise. I have a Boker Plus Balisong G10 in my collection, as well as a Benchmade 51 Morpho—and surprisingly, this Kershaw fares the best. Nice materials, great fit and finish, bearings that let the blade glide silently, and a decent latch action. If you add to that a well-hardened Sandvik blade, which really holds an edge well and can be sharpened without diamonds—it makes this a great EDC for me. I should mention—it's quite big :)

My favorite model. I consider its size an advantage. A light oiling is definitely a plus, the knife is silent.

A must have for your collection, works well as an EDC, can be flipped well and looks amazing, it has good balance and weight but takes some getting use to if you are a beginner flipper. Grip is good and the hardware is robust. Does not come with spare hardware.

Really solid workmanship with a matte finish, sharp knife and the bearings make doing tricks silent and really smooth. The balance is just right. The only "downside" is its size, because it's a bit bigger than standard butterfly knives and it's a bit harder to find a belt sheath for it. I recommend lightly oiling the lock pin axle with knife grease; then the knife becomes eerily silent, and the hinge won't scratch. Overall 10/10 as the highlight of my collection.
