Perfect – a miniature version of an oil lamp, only battery-powered. I bought it because Olight doesn't make a flashlight with normal+UV+red; it's better to get this one plus a separate UV. The three warm white light modes are great for reading maps, and the red one is ideal when you want to see outlines at night and not strain your eyes. The higher it hangs, the wider the illumination area, but it can also stand upright on its base. It doesn't get hot.
Ultra-lightweight and highly compact, the ML4 Warm Light camping lantern by Ledlenser delivers bright, warm-toned illumination thanks to advanced Micro-Prism technology. Ideally suited for outdoor expeditions, camping, and everyday activities.
Equipped with 9 Power LED diodes, the ML4 produces up to 300 lumens of light output. The IP66 sealing standard offers complete protection against dust and strong water jets from any direction.
A built-in red light function enhances night vision, while fluorescent accents ensure easy location in the dark. The integrated carabiner enables secure attachment to a belt loop, backpack, or for hanging inside a tent. Battery charge is shown via a tri-color LED indicator. Magnetic charging technology ensures convenient recharging.
The 14500 3.7 V battery can be swapped with standard AA batteries for added versatility.
Power output and battery life in various modes:
- Boost: 300 lumens,
- Power: 150 lumens / 2.2 hours,
- Low: 5 lumens / 40 hours.
Included in the set:
- lamp,
- 1 x 14500 3.7 V battery,
- magnetic charging cable.

The camping lamp is fantastic – not only light, but also practical. The hook lets you hang it from a line under the tarp or attach it to a backpack as a backup/headlamp assistant. It's great that it has a red light option, and the standard color isn't corpse-pale but warm and pleasant, which is also important. ;)

Great little lamp, maybe 2.5h is too little for some people (for me it's a bit inconvenient), but it's perfect for reading or signaling something. It's small so it's nice because it doesn't get in the way when you hang it somewhere. + You can use a regular battery + You can hang it somewhere + After shining it for a while, the fluorescent strips on the cover will glow, making it easier to find after turning it off + Red light (doesn't make your eyes adjust to the dark, and doesn't attract as many insects as white light) - You can't charge it while it's on (not great if someone wants to connect it to a power bank and use it at the same time)
-
One significant drawback for me is that when you plug in power, the lamp goes out. So either it lights up or charges, you cannot do both at the same time. Unlike Olight's lamps...

Nice, lightweight, functional, but doesn’t shine long at the highest setting. The charging feature and red diode are a plus, as well as the hanger - good for the tent. Tested in the field. Worth recommending, but only for weaker lighting.

When I received it, I was surprised by the lamp's size, even though I had read the specifications and comments beforehand. The lamp is indeed small. However, this is actually its advantage. Extremely handy, takes up very little space, and emits very intense light. Super product. I recommend it.

This is exactly the flashlight I was looking for. Perfect lighting for the campsite and the inside of the tent. Compact size, the ability to attach it to a backpack with a handy clip. I can recommend it with a clear conscience!
-
The lamp is very small, light, and handy, gives bright diffused light, and the quality is very good, although the price is high.
-
Small, handy, good lighting modes. The battery can be replaced with a so-called "AA battery." Really great.
-
Great little lantern. The only downside is the dedicated charger. If it had USB-C, it would be perfect.
-
Great little lantern. It works perfectly in a tent. The fluorescence helps to locate it. At home, it survives rough use by a 5-year-old, so dropping it on tiles hasn't been a catastrophe yet.
-
I was looking for something compact with red light and a replaceable battery. I was considering the ML6 model but this one is more handy and totally sufficient for travel. Great quality. Worth the price.
-
It’s smaller than it appears in the pictures, but it shines nicely and is very lightweight.
-
The little lamp/torch is great. Even though it isn't cheap, its advantages (lighting modes, size, weight, rechargeable battery or AA battery, material quality) make up for the expense. It becomes an essential item for people practicing outdoor activities (campfire, etc.), and it is also a great source of emergency/extra light at home. I immediately got an extra spare rechargeable battery for it to maintain continuous operation.

I was looking for just such a universal product. The lamp works great for short camping trips and as a rear light for a bicycle. It’s not cheap, so I hope it will serve for years. After registering, the warranty is 7 years!!
