Levenhuk Kelvin Snap 10x50 Binoculars

Binoculars with 10x magnification and objective lenses with a diameter of 50 mm, designed for field and nature observation. The optical system uses BK-7 glass, roof prisms, and a Fully Multi-Coated (FMC) full multi-layer coating. The nitrogen-filled body, protected in accordance with the IP67 standard, allows use in changing weather conditions, while the included smartphone adapter lets you take photos of the observed image.

The optical system consists of 7 elements arranged in 5 groups. The eyepieces use 4 elements in 3 groups, while the objective lenses use 3 elements in 2 groups. BK-7 optical glass and a Fully Multi-Coated full multi-layer coating applied to the optical system and prisms were used.

The field of view is 5.6 degrees, which corresponds to 98 m at a distance of 1000 m. The minimum focusing distance is 2 m, and focus is adjusted centrally. Eyepiece dioptre correction is adjusted within a range of 3 dioptres in both directions.

The exit pupil diameter is 5 mm, which determines the amount of light transmitted to the eye. The twilight factor of 22.36 and relative brightness of 25 describe parameters important for observation in lower light conditions. The eye relief is 18 mm.

The body is made of steel and plastic. The sealed construction is filled with nitrogen, which reduces the risk of fogging on internal optical surfaces during temperature changes.

The IP67 protection rating means complete protection against dust and resistance to temporary immersion in water. The Twist-up eyecups have 3 fixed positions, which makes it easier to adjust their setting also for people who wear glasses. The interpupillary distance can be adjusted within a range of 61–74 mm.

The binoculars have a standard 1/4" thread for tripod mounting when using an adapter.
